The first year of high school students take compulsory courses 1-2 (last semester) and compulsory courses 3-4 (next semester).

The second grade of high school students take compulsory courses 5, elective courses 6 (last semester) and elective courses 7-8 (next semester).

According to the textbook, senior high school students should take electives 9-10 (first semester) and elective 11 (next semester).

But in many places I won’t study the textbooks after Elective 8, because the later volumes are not allowed to be taken in the college entrance examination.
