Travel Notes of Kolon, a Malaysian Poet Witch

Always busy, everyone is busy. If you don't hurry, you will never have time.

As a result, I finally took time to do it last weekend. On Thursday, I decided to visit Solanum nigrum in Malaysia. This idea has a long history. Last time I saw a photo of my friend Solanum nigrum looking at the sea, I wanted to go even more. As a result, I didn't start looking for information online until midnight on Friday. I didn't choose Kukup (turtle fishing village) near Singapore, but chose Solanum nigrum near Shiwu Island. It is late at night, and Solanum nigrum can't be contacted. The first plan is to go to nightshade. If you plan to go bankrupt (there is no hotel or you can't catch the boat), go straight to Shikoku Island.

Think I'm rich? Results RM 150 was found from home on Saturday morning. Now that I have decided, I will stick to the plan no matter what the situation is (in fact, there is no plan), and I will solve any problems then. I've always liked wandering around. After so many years, I am more and more convinced that things will eventually be solved.

It took about 1 hour to go out at 9 o'clock on Saturday morning and go through customs in Singapore and Malaysia. Then I drove in the direction of Kota Dingji. After Kota Tinggi, I drove to the east coast of Johor, Malaysia. The instructions on GPS couldn't find Shiwu Island at all, so I followed the general direction on GSP. Up to Sedili Besar and Sedili Kecil, these two places are also the coast of Malaysia, but they should be underdeveloped places. Dare not stay long, ask for directions in a hurry, and continue to go north to Shiwu Island. It's beautiful to cross the Sulili estuary.

Along the way, I stopped here and continued on my way. GPS can only be used as a locator, not as a direction indicator. Along the way, I asked a policeman and a road builder. They all kindly showed me the way, followed their guidance and guessed, and ran about 60 kilometers to Shiwudao Ferry. The car can be parked at the ferry, there is a very safe parking lot, and parking for the night is RM 8.

It's reassuring to see several Singapore car brands in the parking lot. I saw several people from Singapore, all with fishing gear and holding incubators. I can't tell whether they are real masters or just device controllers. Anyway, they seem to have a big fight, which is obviously different from our clothes. I look like a reporter, with a camera and luggage.

When we arrived at the dock, we called Solanum nigrum and booked a bed. Solanum nigrum RM 155 per person per day, including round-trip air ticket, breakfast, lunch and dinner+dinner (barbecue). We just caught the last boat at 2 o'clock, sailed in the rain for 30 minutes and arrived in Solanum nigrum in heavy rain. Everything is going well.

Although it is windy all over the world, many islands in Malaysia were closed in June+February, 5438, but it is calm here.

Solanum nigrum is like a big dormitory isolated in the sea. Although I was a little prepared, I was a little surprised to see the real black nightshade, a double-decker Datong shop. There are many people, but they are very busy. It's raining heavily outside, and the atmosphere of Solanum nigrum is very leisurely. Some people are sitting in a daze by the bed, some are sitting on the sofa watching the rain and drinking tea, and some are playing mahjong.

The sky is blue after the rain, and the fresh air is refreshing. Just now, those leisurely people suddenly disappeared from their cages and went fishing outside.

Many people come here to fish with a mission. When I left the next day, a few people went home full, unlike me who came out to take pictures.

This cage is made entirely of bamboo and wood in the sea.

Seeing everyone's tireless state, I originally planned to stand by for an afternoon, but I couldn't help renting a pair of fishing rods to join us. I am completely fish blind. This is my first time to use this reel fishing rod. I don't know what kind of hook and bait I can catch. Fortunately, everyone is very enthusiastic. Look, I'm a rookie, and people keep reminding me that some people throw the fish he caught into my bucket.

I also saw many fish there, so I went there to join in the fun. After a while, I actually caught three fish, but it felt strange. Later, I found that none of the three fish were caught from the fish's mouth. It's all bad luck. The hook hangs on the fish's back or tail. . I used a six-hook Apollo hook, which was specially used to catch big-eyed fish and harmed innocent people.

Everyone says there will be a lot of big-eyed fish at night, so be patient. That posture is really waiting for a wave of big fish. In the evening, they really came. I learned to throw a pole from everyone. At first, it was quite dangerous. I threw a lot of unexpected stunts and threw them forward. As a result, the hook and the lead pendant passed through the lifebuoy behind me and were thrown into the fish pond in the cage, hitting my own chest. But after some practice, they are all handy. At first, they can catch fish, and the hook is hooked on the fish mouth. Then they can often catch two fish with one shot, and the most is to catch four big-eyed fish with one shot. Fishing with everyone until midnight, my hands couldn't stand it, and I caught dozens of fish. Fishing in the sea for the first time makes people feel particularly confident.

This little girl is the most patient. Although she is very young, she is good at fishing and catches a strange fish.

Young, looks like an old fisherman.

The next morning, I missed the good opportunity to shoot the sunrise, and everyone else got up early to go fishing (what a dedicated fisherman). I became my photojournalist. Later, I went fishing and found that the fish had really gone. I was impatient. I started cheating, throwing some bread, and when there were many fish, I hooked it down with a fish hook and hooked it to the back of a fish. The fishing was stopped in a hurry the next day. Then take a bottle of beer, blow the sea breeze and watch others fish.

When I went there, I took RM 150 and stayed for one day. When I returned to Singapore, I only had RM 100. However, if you spend more Singapore dollars, you can change money in the cage.

What more can you ask for when you see such scenery?

A lot of stories in just one day, not much to write. Next time I go, I will play a fisherman. Beautiful sea view, let's look at the photos ourselves. The harvested prey has been turned into fried bigeye fish according to the method taught by Google.

Shikoku Island is a good place. I'm thinking about whether I can hide in it for the New Year.
