Why do men use drones to shoot barracks?

According to the report of Guangzhou police on May 4, a man was recently seized by Guangzhou Baiyun police for using drones to shoot military facilities in a military camp and was administratively detained for 7 days according to law. After being arrested, the man said that he was curious for fun.

What happened: At about 0/3 o'clock on May 2, Huang (male, 30 years old, from Lianyuan, Hunan) was curious about a military camp when he was climbing a mountain in Baiyun District, Guangzhou, so he used a drone to take aerial photos of the military facilities in the military camp and was discovered by the soldiers of the army. With the help of the soldiers, Baiyun police quickly dispatched the police to arrest Huang, and seized the drones he carried and illegally filmed video materials on the spot. Huang also confessed to the illegal acts of aerial photography of military facilities.

Guangzhou Baiyun police deployed a capable police force to collect evidence from Huang and find out the illegal facts. Because Huang took aerial photos of the army camp out of fun and curiosity, and the aerial photos were not circulated, which did not cause serious consequences, according to the provisions of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Public Security Administration Punishment, Huang was given administrative detention for 7 days according to law.

The police reminded that all units, organizations and individuals should use drones in strict accordance with relevant laws and regulations, be familiar with relevant no-fly zones, and it is strictly forbidden to shoot at airports, military facilities, government agencies, key parts and crowded places. The public security organs will strictly investigate and deal with illegal acts of manipulating drones to disturb public order.
