Do professional photographers take pictures in raw format? Patching steps?

I am a photographer, and I usually take photos in RAW format to maximize the quality and details of photos! There are also masters who directly use JPG, which will require higher light and camera performance. This does not mean that all people who shoot JPG are masters.

As for post-processing, first install the RAW plug-in in PS, and import the RAW file for the first step of color correction and exposure fine-tuning. Of course, this plug-in has a preliminary peeling function and some simple modifications, and the effect is not ideal, so it is rarely used.

The normal situation of converting RAW into JPG is generally only color correction and exposure fine-tuning. As for this step, peeling is purely a personal hobby. If I were you, I wouldn't grind the skin until it is converted into JPG and then dragged into PS. I can fix it as I want, with better function and better effect!
