Introduction of Concubine Palace in Qingchuan Pavilion
But what impressed me the most was the Wang Yu Temple near the Yangtze River, which is now the "Yuji Palace". Built in Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty, the existing buildings were rebuilt in Tongzhi for three years. It is one of the few representative wooden buildings in the Qing Dynasty in Wuhan, and it is also the place where Dayu has been worshipped in Wuhan for more than 800 years.
Together with Qingchuan Pavilion and tiemenguan, it constitutes Qingchuan Pavilion Scenic Area, which is known as one of the three famous scenic spots in Wuhan. This is one of the first major buildings that come into view.
Next year, the "Wang Yu Temple" will be renamed "Yuji Palace", and on the basis of the original sacrifice to Dayu, it will be dedicated to Hou Ji, Ba Yuan, Bakai and other legendary sages 18. In the fifth year of the Apocalypse, Zhang Yuanfang, the right phase of Huguang, wrote an inscription for Yuji Palace, and the name of Yuji Palace has been in use ever since.
During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, Fan Zhizhen, the magistrate of Hanyang, built a Qingchuan Pavilion when he was repairing the Yuji Palace, which was named after the poem "A tree in Hanyang becomes clear water, and a nest of herbs in Nautilus Island" written by Cui Hao, a poet of the Tang Dynasty.
In the third year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty, Yuji Palace was rebuilt again, consisting of main hall, front hall, left and right cloisters and patio. In 1980s, the palace was overhauled again. After careful renovation, the Yuji Palace was painted with red paint, carved with beams and painted with buildings, which was antique and attracted many young people to come here for wedding photography, costume photography and Hanfu travel photography.
Under the blue sky and white clouds, the trees in front of Yuji Palace are lush, there are not many tourists, and the environment is elegant, accompanied by the river wind, which is really refreshing. White walls and blue tiles,
Standing by the river, the beauty of light and shadow hidden in the shade is full of ancient rhyme.
Walking into the palace, standing under the sky, I saw an iron cow to calm the water and an iron bell for sacrifice on both sides of the main hall porch, and an iron tripod in the courtyard. Above the gallery is a plaque inscribed by Mr. Sha Menghai, a modern calligrapher: "Stone Bay Mengze". The pillars are engraved with couplets inscribed by Liu Haisu, a master of calligraphy and painting: Go to court three times and waste your time; Eight years abroad, Pingcheng Hehan Jianghuai.
In the center of the hall, there is a statue of Dayu made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, with a huge plaque of "Depei Tiandi" hanging on it, and various materials commemorating Dayu's water control are also displayed.
Dayu is recognized as the originator of water conservancy in past dynasties. Qin Shihuang once "went to worship Dayu, sat in the South China Sea, set up stone carvings to praise Qin De", and was the first to offer sacrifices to the emperor. Since then, the activities of official and folk sacrifices to Yu have lasted for a long time. Until today, the sacrifice and commemoration of Dayu is still very prosperous.
In addition to the Yuji Palace, there are Chubo Pavilion, Jingchu Xiong Feng Monument, Chaozong Pavilion, Yubei, etc. Among them, Chuboting was built in Ming Dynasty to commemorate Dayu's flood control. The pavilion was rebuilt in 1986, which is a fan-shaped warm pavilion.
The Monument to Xiong Feng in Jingchu was carved in the thirty-fifth year of Qing Qianlong, and was written by Ba Li, the secretariat of Jingnan. The inscription means to praise the people of Jingchu for their indomitable spirit of fighting floods.
And this Chaozong Pavilion is said to have been successfully built here by Dayu for water control. There is a saying in Shangshu Gong Yu that Dayu "lives in Jianghan Sea".
There is a couplet on the "Chaozong Pavilion": the mountain is divided into Wuxia and the rain is west, and the river presses Haimen to the east. Standing on the bank of the rolling Yangtze River, I can't help but find this couplet magnificent and magnificent.
But it is the jade tablet that has a great history. This is Mao Huijian, a famous scholar in Qing Dynasty, who carved this place from Hengshan Mountain and then carved it in Xi 'an Forest of Steles.
Dayu's water control is said to be "successful in carving stones on Hengshan Mountain", and his stone carvings are called "Northern Henan" by later generations. Since the Tang Dynasty, there have been many legends about "Northern Henan", and Han Yu, a great writer, has also written poems about it. But before the Southern Song Dynasty, the world had never seen this monument, and many people searched all over Mount Hengshan before finding it.
It was not until the Jiading period of the Southern Song Dynasty that this monument was discovered and engraved in the Three Gorges Kuimen and Changsha Yuelu Academy. There are 77 words on the tablet, which are strange and difficult to read. Many people in the past dynasties tried to identify it, but they couldn't understand its meaning.
However, the story of Dayu's water control is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people and admired by the people. Since then, the monument has become famous all over the world and has been engraved in famous mountains and rivers all over the country.
