Photographic color temperature

Color temperature is a unit of measurement, indicating the color components contained in light.

Color temperature is a measure of temperature, which is usually used in physics and astronomy. This concept is based on a fictional black object, which will emit different colors when heated to different temperatures, and its object will appear different colors, just like an iron block will turn red first, then yellow and finally white when heated.

The color temperature calibrated by this method is just the opposite of what people think of as "warm" and "cold". Most people think that red and yellow are warmer, while white and blue are colder. For example, shooting sunny days in natural environment is because of the high color temperature of light. So the photos are cool; At dusk, due to the low color temperature of light.
