Tian Geng, famous Wei Bing, 1955, a native of Laiyang City, Shandong Province, now lives in Longkou. National first-class painter, director of China Painting and Calligraphy Artists Creation Center, member of (international) China Painters Association, painter of China Academy of Fine Arts, and senior painter of Zhongyuan Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute. 1998 was awarded the title of National Top 100 Painters. Since 2000, he has been awarded the titles of "Excellent Artists across the Taiwan Straits", "Gold Medal Artists in the New Century" and "New Century" jointly by 14 Artists Association.
