May 1943, internship in British Standard Telephone and Cable Company and Marconi Radio Company.

1944, during my internship in Britain, I was lucky enough to escape the bombing of the first generation V- 1 missile invented by Germany, and also visited the V-2 ballistic missile.

1945 was admitted to the Imperial College London Department of Radio Science, University of London, UK.

/kloc-0 graduated in September, 1947 with a master's degree thesis "Two-way Radio Communication". In the same year, he returned to China in June 5438+10, and worked as a researcher in Shanghai Research Institute of Radio Company of Resources Committee.

1May, 1949 to1September, 1952, worked as a researcher at the Electrical Machinery Research Institute of the Telecommunications Industry Bureau of East China Ministry of Industry in Shanghai.

1952 10, transferred to the Institute of Electronic Science of the Ministry of Communications of China People's Liberation Army as a researcher.

1in the spring of 954, he was invited to listen to the report of missile expert Qian Xuesen on rocket technology with senior military generals in Huairentang.

1957 to 65438+February, transferred to the second division of the fifth research institute of the Ministry of National Defense. During my stay in the Fifth Research Institute of the Ministry of National Defense, I served as the deputy director and director of the first design department of the second branch of the Fifth Research Institute, and served as the deputy chief designer of several liquid ballistic missile models and the chief designer of the control subsystem, presiding over the development of the control subsystem.

1965, the fifth hospital of the Ministry of national defense was changed to the seventh Ministry of machinery industry, and the first design department of the second branch was placed under the first hospital of the seventh Ministry of machinery 12. He has served as director of the institute, director of the overall design department, vice president of the first and second research institutes, and chief engineer of the seventh mechanical department.

1970 In April, at the critical moment of the initial development of China solid fuel submarine-launched missiles, he was appointed as the director of the Research Institute of Liquid Model Control System, and served as the director of the General Design Division of the Fourth Division of the Seventh Machinery Department, which was in charge of submarine-launched missiles.

From 65438 to 0974, he was promoted to vice president of the First Hospital, focusing on the development of the first generation of solid submarine strategic missiles in China.

1979, was appointed as the chief designer of the task of developing underwater launch solid ballistic missiles, and was also appointed as the chief designer of solid land-based mobile strategic missiles.

1982, after being changed to the Ministry of Aerospace Industry, he served as the deputy director of the Science and Technology Committee of the Ministry and the director of the Science and Technology Committee of the Second Research Institute. In the same year, he organized scientific and technical personnel to successfully complete the underwater launch test of solid missiles for the first time.

1984 land-based mobile solid strategic missile weapon system was also successfully launched, and finally finalized in 1989.

1988, after the establishment of the Ministry of Aerospace Industry, he served as the chief technical adviser and senior technical adviser of the Second Research Institute. In the same year, he led scientific and technological personnel to successfully launch a submarine-launched solid missile from a nuclear submarine.

1993, after the establishment of China Aerospace Industry Corporation, he still served as the senior technical consultant of the Corporation.

1986 was elected as an academician of the international academy of astronautics (IAA);

199 1 Elected as an academician of China Academy of Sciences (now an academician).

2011165438+1On the evening of October 23rd, Huang Weilu died in Beijing at the age of 95.

Huang Weilu has been engaged in the research on the theory and engineering practice of rocket missile control technology for a long time, which has played an important role in solving major key technical problems, making decisions, commanding and organizing the implementation of large-scale engineering schemes in the missile development process, creating a precedent for China's solid strategic missiles and laying the foundation for China's rocket missile technology development. China Dongfeng and other short-range, medium-range, medium-long-range, long-range liquid ballistic missiles and the control system of China's first artificial earth satellite "Dongfanghong 1" all have his participation.

Since the late 1950s, he has been the chief designer of the control system of liquid ballistic missiles, developed his work in this field and solved many major technical problems. In the early 1970s, he participated in the development of submarine-launched solid ballistic missiles. He led his colleagues to complete the following tasks: he determined the correct overall plan, technical route and key projects, decided to adopt a large number of new technologies, and broke through the key points such as underwater cold launch, water attitude control technology, leveling aiming technology under swinging conditions, multifunctional mobile launch vehicle, miniaturization of components and real-time calculation of shooting data, and developed the first generation of underground and ground-to-ground mobile solid ballistic missiles in China. Key pre-research projects have also been completed, laying a solid technical foundation for China's second-generation ballistic missiles.

In the late 1950s and early 1960s, when many disciplines and technical fields related to China's missile technology were blank, he presided over the breakthrough of imitation and self-design of China's liquid strategic missile control system, and successively solved the theoretical and engineering technical problems of liquid sloshing, elastic body stability, stage separation and various guidance and stability schemes of long-range multi-stage missiles, which raised the control technology of China's liquid strategic missiles to a new level.

After the 1970s, he successfully presided over the development of submarine and ground solid mobile strategic missiles, and put forward the concept of "one missile can be used for two purposes", which broke through a series of key technologies, such as underwater launch, leveling and aiming of three-axis stable platform with moving base, timely calculation and binding of missile design elements, and development and launch of land-based mobile aircraft. These two types of missiles fill the gaps in China's missile and space technology, and provide reliable theoretical and practical basis for China to continue to develop solid strategic missiles.

In 1970s and 1980s, he successfully led and presided over the development of China's first submarine-launched solid strategic missile and the first land-based mobile solid strategic missile, which broke through China's underwater launching technology and solid motor development technology. He explored a correct path for the development of solid rockets and missiles in China and made outstanding contributions to China's space industry.
