Shooting distance (scene)

Kyobe

Three senses: perspective, three-dimensional sense and texture.

There are two kinds of changes in shooting distance in photography:

One is the actual spatial distance between the camera and the subject, that is, whether the camera is far or near the subject;

The other refers to the length of the focal length of the lens selected during shooting, that is, the actual spatial distance between the camera and the subject remains unchanged, but the distance change is obtained with lenses with different focal lengths.

Kyobe

Scene difference mainly refers to the distance between the camera and the subject, which causes the size of the image on the screen.

The size of the scene is also related to the focal length of the photographic lens. With the change of focal length, the sight distance changes accordingly, and the field of vision changes with the size.

The use of scenes is an important means in film and television art creation. In order to create a vivid film and television image, the creator is required to deal with the size and distance of the scene according to the priority of the characters, the needs of the plot and the psychology of the audience.

There is no strict boundary for the division of scenery, which is generally divided into distant view, panoramic view, middle view, close view and close-up.

Scenery is generally divided into three types, from near to far: close-up (above the shoulders of human body), close-up (above the chest), middle-view (above the knees), panorama (all the human body and its surrounding background) and prospect (the environment where the subject is located).

Generally, we call the scenes near the distant view and the panoramic view as "big scenes", and the scenes near the close view and the close view as "small scenes".

distant view

Forward-looking is a picture scene taken from a long distance, which can contain the vast space of the photographed scene, including more spatial scenes, and is easy to express the whole environment and overall momentum, but it is not conducive to explaining the specific plot and details.

In the long term, it can show the scale, quantity, atmosphere and momentum of the natural environment and scenery, and show the natural landscape and large-scale mass activities.

The whole scene

If the panoramic scene is measured by the adult human body, it generally refers to the whole body of the adult human body. If shooting other things, it means keeping the external outline of things intact and showing the whole picture of the subject, and there are not many blank scenes around the subject.

Mainly used to objectively express the whole picture of the subject. The subject is not reduced or enlarged, and there is basically no subjective choice.

medium shot

If the middle scene is measured by an adult's body, it means that this person's waist and abdomen (sitting posture) or knees (standing posture) are on it. If other things are photographed, it means that most of them include their own main parts.

The middle scene can show the relationship between people and things.

It is beneficial to reflect the movements, postures and postures of the characters. When shooting the middle scene, we should pay attention to maintaining the integrity of the character's posture to avoid the phenomenon that the arm swings out of the picture and the upper body is cut by the picture.

The biggest advantage of the middle scene is to show the plot, which can fully show the communication between the characters, not only explain the movements and postures of the characters, but also see their expressions.

Nearby scenery

Close shot is measured by the adult's body, generally referring to the part above the chest. If you shoot something else, it only includes the main part.

Close-up pictures mainly show the expressions, expressions and details of the characters, and show their emotions and inner activities.

Close-range shooting of characters should pay attention to "approaching the spirit", pay attention to dealing with the subtle movements of the characters' head posture, facial expressions, eyes and mouth, and pay special attention to hand movements and gestures if the characters' hands enter the picture.

Feature Articles

Close-up pictures are measured according to the human body standards of adults, generally referring to the parts above the shoulders. If shooting other things, refer to the details of things to avoid the external contour line going deep into them.

Close-up pictures can be obtained by shooting at close range with a long focal length lens or a short focal length lens.

Close-up pictures can play a role in highlighting and emphasizing something or its parts. Close-up pictures can separate the subject from the background, simplify the background and highlight the subject.
