How to shoot the scenery?

Lead: Siguniang Mountain is located at the junction of Xiaojin County and Wenchuan County in Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It is the highest peak of Qionglai Mountain on the eastern edge of Hengduan Mountain, attracting countless photographers to shoot here all the year round. Siguniang Mountain consists of four continuous peaks, which are lined up within 5 kilometers from north to south, and their heights are 6250 meters, 5664 meters, 5454 meters and 5355 meters respectively. These four peaks are covered with ice and snow all the year round, like four beautiful girls in white gauze, standing on the two galaxies of Changpinggu and Haizigou in turn. For this continuous ear mountain, we can use banner pictures with wide vision to show the extension and continuous ups and downs of the mountain range. When encountering the ups and downs of mountains, you can also cut off the extra sky after shooting to highlight the momentum of mountains and rivers.

Inverted triangle composition

Taking photos of mountain scenery pays the most attention to the use of layering. If the shape of the mountain is an irregular triangle, then taking a close-up is not the best expression. Here, with the help of mountains, you can intercept part of the environment when shooting, so that the mountains are in a mountainous situation. The inverted triangle composition formed in this way not only makes the picture more active, but also adds a mysterious atmosphere to the snow-capped mountains.

Photographers can shoot many rare masterpieces if they can often walk with outdoor sports enthusiasts. Because outdoor sports enthusiasts tend to avoid the routes that ordinary tourists often take, they choose or develop brand-new adventure routes, and even climb mountains in non-tourist areas. If the photographer has such an opportunity, he must bring lighting equipment and a large zoom lens in order to capture all the beautiful scenery. However, before going out, you should buy necessary outdoor equipment and choose a camera bag that is convenient for equipment access according to the requirements of outdoor athletes.

Telephoto captured a fragment of mountain scenery.

When shooting mountain scenery, film friends often think that telephoto lenses will be useless, but they are not. The telephoto lens can not only take long-distance pictures, which is beneficial to special composition, but also play a role in compressing pictures, so that the mountain scenery photos taken will be compact in form. In order to keep the picture clear, you can choose a multi-section folding tripod that is easy to carry when shooting, and cooperate with cable release to assist shooting.

Waterscape exposure? Flowing silk

The advantage of digital SLR camera is not only that it can solidify high-speed moments, but also that it can freeze high-speed moments. Slow? Records are also professional. When you want to shoot water features, if you use ordinary automatic exposure mode, the effect will be sparse and ordinary, while using long exposure to describe the water flow as smooth white silk thread will make others look at your shooting technology with new eyes. The shooting of this kind of water flow is just the opposite of daily shooting, which requires the ambient light to be as dark as possible. In this way, the exposure time can be extended and the camera can record the process of water flow. The common method is to use the aperture priority exposure mode of the camera to narrow the aperture of the camera and reduce the amount of light entering the lens, thus prolonging the exposure time of the camera. If the ambient light is too bright, you can also use grey mirror (ND mirror) to dim the light. Such a long exposure time is obviously not suitable for hand-held shooting, so the camera should be fixed on a tripod to ensure the clarity of other elements in the photo.

Small scene combination

Water is the source of everything. As long as there is water, the scenery will look smart. When taking pictures of waterscape, we can look for scenery that matches the environment, such as strange rocks or shoals on the shore, mossy rocks in the water, or aquatic plants flowing in the water. This waterscape photo taken in Jiuzhaigou, Sichuan, successfully uses fairy-tale colors in the water and floating trunks, adding infinite vitality to the whole waterscape. The shooting of waterscape sketches should be different from the primary ones. Don't include too many subjects in the picture, but this doesn't mean that you can't include too many elements, but each element should have a certain unity in form or color, so that the combined photos won't look messy.

Schematic diagram of dynamic and static comparison

Dynamic and static contrast refers to the use of the dynamic and static relationship between composition elements to achieve the purpose of highlighting the main body. Both static and dynamic can form a comparative relationship. When shooting water and trees, the subject is very prominent, because the water is constantly flowing and the trees are relatively static. If the picture is full of static scenery, the whole will appear lack of vitality; If all the pictures are dynamic, it will make the audience fidget. Only by properly grasping the relationship between motion and static can the picture be interesting. To photograph the current in dynamic and static contrast? Moving? It depends on the control of camera shutter speed. In order to make the water flow into silk, it is necessary to slow down the shutter speed to shoot; On the contrary, if you take splash pictures, you must use a higher shutter speed.

Using reflection to create lakes and mountains

Effective use of reflection is a major shooting skill in landscape photography. For the shooting scenes of lakes and mountains, reflection can add a lot of color to the water surface, but it is not easy to capture reflection. If you just take a chance, the success rate of shooting will be very low. In fact, the shadow of a reflection is different from the shadow of a shadow. A reflection is an image of a reflecting surface. Simply put, it is an inverted shadow, just like looking in the mirror at ordinary times. When the scenery is full of light and the water surface is slightly weak, the reflection will be clearly visible. On the contrary, if the light on the water is too strong, it will inevitably affect the effect of reflection. Therefore, when shooting the beautiful scenery of lakes and mountains, we should catch up with the inclination of the sun, so that the water can better reflect the three-dimensional image of mountains and rivers. When taking landscape photos in Jiuzhaigou, Sichuan, photographers often enter the ditch before many tourists and wait for the best light and shadow in front of Haizi.

Show the color of water

The color of water is ever-changing, which may be the influence of geological minerals, the blue reflection of the sky or the reappearance of the beautiful scenery around the water. Grasping the color of water is the essence of landscape photography. In different seasons of the year and at different times of the day, the water surface may appear different colors, the most obvious of which is the influence of color temperature change on color, followed by the influence of surrounding scenery on color. The best suggestion is to shoot in the morning and evening, because at this time, the light-receiving surface and the shadow surface of the water will show completely different color temperature effects, especially when using the daylight white balance mode of digital SLR cameras, the dark blue shadow will add a lot of color to the photos. In order to prevent the color of the water surface from being too monotonous, you can also add silhouette in the shooting, and deliberately reduce the exposure compensation when shooting, so that the foreground hidden in the dark becomes abstract lines. At this point, you can also turn on the digital SLR camera? Reverse film? Fashion, or? Gorgeous? Mode, strengthen the color of water.

Protection and cleaning of camera when shooting waterscape

When shooting near the water, try to hang the camera around your neck to avoid accidentally falling into the water. If possible, you can also buy a wristband for your digital SLR camera, so that the two belts can be integrated to ensure the safety of the camera to a greater extent. If you go to a place where the water is rushing, you can bring an extra lens to prevent ultraviolet rays, so that even if the lens splashes water droplets, you can immediately put on a spare ultraviolet ray lens to avoid missing the shooting opportunity. When shooting water features with large drop, especially waterfalls, you can find a downwind shooting location to avoid the erosion of the camera by water mist in the air. When wiping the ultraviolet-proof lens of the lens outdoors, it is best to use a high-quality 3M lens wiping cloth, and dust remaining or adhered to it before use, so as not to scratch the coating on the lens. After shooting by the water with high humidity, you can use a sealed drying box with neutral silicon desiccant to dry the photographic equipment after you go home, so as to avoid the influence of excessive humidity on the electrical performance of digital SLR cameras and the mildew of the lens.
