The joy of painting

Dunzhe Ling

I haven't written a painting article in the last two weeks or so. The day before yesterday, an aunt introduced a girl. I said, "Send two more photos and enjoy them." She said, "I don't like taking pictures, only these two." Then he said: "I don't know why, I always feel that there is no life in the photo, only people."

I said, "This statement is very novel." She said, "Maybe it's the lines."

It is this sentence that makes me more aware of the truth and fun of painting. Photographs and paintings are both art forms, and neither is more beautiful. But perhaps for most people, painting is even more unforgettable. Just like a mother giving birth to a child, she was pregnant with a child in June 5438+00, and everything else was cloned. So which one do you think will impress her more?

My brother likes photography. He said to me: "The most important thing in photography is to chase the light. How to make objects feel is very important. " Once, he told me that in order to shoot "Blood Moon", he filmed from 1 1 until 3 am, just to find the perfect angle. So in his eyes, the photo must be alive. "Life" is the power given to works by artists.

Dunzhe Ling's oil painting "Life"

Of course, a good photographer can take 100 interesting photos a day. But no matter how great a painter is, it is impossible to draw 10 interesting works in one day. I know that many painter friends even need two months to draw a good oil painting. Therefore, the process of painting, one line at a time and one idea into the picture, is interesting and thrilling. Life is a process, not a result. Life is a process, not a result.

If I tell you that you have a good life and eventually become a rich man, this is the result. But you haven't enjoyed the process of getting rich. Are you willing to die? It's like we all know that we will die eventually, but now we don't want to die. Isn't this the meaning of living? So in a word, I found the reason and fun of painting and a new way to understand life.

You give a lot of material "life", that is, you give a lot of strength to your own life. This is a difficult process, but the birth of any "life", no matter how simple, is bound to be low. Don't be afraid to pay, thinking that we will eventually lose the most precious time.
