Introduction.

The underground palace is a building facility under the base of the pagoda. In 1988, during the maintenance of the Shengjin Pagoda, a number of precious cultural relics were discovered in other palaces and pagodas (now on display at the Shengjin Pagoda Thousand Buddha Temple Inside). There is an old folk saying: "The vine is broken and the gourd is cut, and the pagoda is ruined and the chapter is broken."

"Teng" is a homophony of "Teng", which refers to the Tengwang Pavilion; "Gourd" refers to the treasure; "Pagoda" refers to the Golden Tower; "宮" means collapse; "Yuzhang" That is Nanchang. The meaning of this ancient ballad is that if Tengwang Pavilion and Shengjin Pagoda collapse, the talents and treasures in Yuzhang City will be lost, and the city will also decline and no longer prosper.
