What is a laser focusing sensor?

Laser focusing sensor is an advanced technology applied in the field of mobile phone photography. The laser focusing sensor measures the reflected light by emitting low-power infrared laser, and realizes fast and accurate automatic focusing. This sensor is located next to the camera on the back of the phone. When activated, the laser focusing sensor will emit infrared laser to the photographed object, which will be reflected and received by the same sensor. There are some limitations in laser focusing, such as limited focusing distance, and the focusing speed will be affected in low light. However, laser focusing technology is still considered as an important progress in the field of smart phone photography, which greatly improves the focusing performance of mobile phone photography, especially in snapshot and sports scenes.
