Can DR show lumbar disc herniation?

Can DR film diagnose lumbar disc herniation? I can't. In fact, the contents displayed by DR are the same as ordinary X-ray photos. For lumbar DR, it mainly shows the physiological curvature of lumbar spine, whether there is hyperosteogeny, whether the bony spinal canal is obviously narrow, whether the intervertebral space is symmetrical, and whether the intervertebral facet joints are degenerated. Because the intervertebral disc is cartilage, unless there is calcification or severe gasification, generally X-ray films will not develop. To see the lumbar intervertebral disc, CT or MRI is needed.
