A Brief Analysis of the Photography Skills of Biography of Assassin

During the Warring States Period: Li, Zhuan Xu, Jing Ke.

Zhuan Xu stabbed, leaving the son of Liao, Nie Zheng destroyed the king of Korea, and Jing Ke pulled out the dagger. Three of the four people were written by Sima Qian into Historical Records: Biography of Assassins, but they had to leave historical records. Why?

The story of parting can only be traced back to other ancient works because it has never been recorded in historical books. His story is recorded in Wu Yue Chun Qiu.

Parting is a Wu native, born very short, and takes a butcher as his profession. This man looks distinctive, short, looks like a monkey and looks ugly. This image is not in contradiction with Wu Dalang's nickname "Three-inch Ding Drum Bark" in Water Margin. It happened that such people were born with great courage and resourcefulness.

He was notorious for his war of words with another soldier, Qiu Qiu. He is rude to alignment. Just like cursing people can now go on hot search, it is estimated that keeping a mouth gun is also very good. Through this action, he also made a name for himself in Wu.

Next, he was attracted by Wu Zixu and recommended it to He Lv, the king of Wu.

To say that He Lv was probably the warlord who was most keen on assassination during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, he first hired Zhuan Xu with a high salary, and hide the sword killed his brother Wu Wangliao in the fish (that is, the story of the famous fish intestine sword). He ascended the throne, worried about his brother's son Qing Ji's revenge, and looked for someone to assassinate him everywhere.

In fact, He Law was puzzled when he first saw such a short "little guy" being taken. After all, Qing Ji was also one of the best soldiers in the world at that time. He was very suspicious. How can such a "villain" who can run for miles in windy weather kill Qing Ji?

Unexpectedly, the deviant was very concerned about this opportunity to make a name for himself, and offered a plan to help He Lu get rid of his nephew on the spot. And the plan to leave the sacrifice is really ridiculous. He asked the prince of Wu to kill his wife and children first, and then cut off his right arm that he could use a knife. Then he can stage a sell-off to win Qing Ji's trust, so as to approach him and kill him.

Yet, it is estimated that Wu Zixu and He Lv, the prince of Wu, were frightened. They have heard that they can play with each other for fame and fortune, but they have never heard that they can put their family and their hands in it. Even when He Lv appointed Zhuan Xu to kill his brother, Zhuan Xu was the last person to ask He Lv to take care of his family. Leaving this move is a bit inhuman.

But after all, leaving is a good idea, and He Lu has nothing to worry about because of his active dedication. So he acted according to the plan, and in a blink of an eye, the whole family was killed and his right hand was cut off.

The separation of his right hand fully shows his resourcefulness. He didn't go to Qing Ji at once, but sold miserably everywhere, saying how cruel Prince He Lv was to him and how eager he was for revenge. In this way, after it spread all over the world, he came to Qing Ji and cried at the sight of Qing Ji.

This kind of victory or defeat is much more credible than Zhou Yu's Huang Gai. Qing Ji was convinced that he was leaving him in the same boat, so he led an army to crusade against He Lv. When Qing Ji set out, he left the boat. As the boat swayed, he stabbed a short spear into Qing Ji's heart with his weak left hand.

Qing Ji didn't realize that he was left to play at the moment, so he raised his left leg with his last breath, put his head into the water, and then raised it and put it in, intending to drown him. But when he was about to drown, Qing Ji suddenly relented. He felt that he had to leave at least one warrior, a warrior braver than himself. In order to assassinate himself, he even gave up his wife, children and arms.

So I sighed: "There are people like you in the world. Forget it, two warriors can't die in one day. " Before he died, he ordered his officers and men to let go.

But in the end, I didn't survive, so I went to work for Helv and committed suicide without any reward. It is said that he left a sentence before he died: "I didn't kill to get rich, but to protect the people of Wu from war." Now that my wife and children are dead, it's meaningless for me to live. It is better to follow them. "

So much for the story of leaving. Next, let's talk about why he missed the historical records from this story.

As a treasure of China and even the world history books, Historical Records has a common feature with other history books of later generations, that is, it writes too many princes and princes, which makes people mistakenly think that history seems to be dominated by these figures.

However, in the historical records, Sima Qian, the Taishi Duke, never forgot to make a biography for ordinary people, that is, the biography of assassins. At present, there are five biographies, each from an ordinary person, and they are all recorded in history because of a killing or a courageous act. But not every moment in history can have this honor.

From the difficulty of assassination, leaving is not easier than using Jing Ke to assassinate Qin. Ying Zheng is suspicious, so is Qing Ji. Ying Zheng was surrounded by countless people, but when he was assassinated by Jing Ke, everyone dared to go to the temple because he didn't order them, and Qing Ji himself had the courage to blame others. As far as weapons are concerned, Jing Ke has a dagger made by Mrs. Xu, which is also highly toxic, but it needs not only a right hand to eat with a knife, but also a magic weapon. But in the end, Jing Ke failed and was close to success.

Since it is not easy to kill Qing Ji, could it be because of the following reasons?

1. Assassination target

The targets of the five assassins in the history books are either a powerful minister or a vassal of a certain country. Only Qing Ji is just a prince who has lost power and influence. Therefore, judging from the assassination target, Qing Ji seems to be somewhat underestimated.

2. The purpose of the assassination

At the end of Historical Records, Biography of Assassins, Sima Qian sent out a sigh as usual:

In other words, regardless of whether these five people's chivalrous actions are successful or not, their ambitions and intentions are clear and have not violated their conscience. Therefore, it is not illusory to go down in history.

This sentence is probably the gist of Tai Shigong's choice of assassin biography list.

As for leaving, many people in ancient and modern times think that he is only for "fame", not for any ambition. For example, when Feng Menglong wrote the story of leaving in the History of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, he used the title "Stabbed Qing Ji away from fame".

Undeniably, Qing Ji's death did prevent a rebellion within the State of Wu, and saved many people from being displaced and suffering from swords and guns.

No one knows whether Tai Shigong holds the same view as Feng Menglong of later generations. But the act of leaving makes it impossible to judge whether he is moving for "name" or "righteousness". If Sima Qian's deeds when he wrote Biographies of Assassins cannot be verified, Sima Qian, who has always been rigorous, will certainly not let him enter this book.

3. Assassination methods

Jing Ke stabbed Qin and borrowed Fan's head, but it is understandable that Fan was an enemy of Ying Zheng and volunteered his head.

Yu Jean killed Zhao Xiangzi by self-mutilation, but at least his wife and children were not implicated.

This kind of departure behavior can be described as outrageous. His wife and children didn't die voluntarily, but he pushed them to the guillotine. In order to kill someone who has nothing to do with himself, it is simply immoral to give up your closest relatives and weapons.

If such a person can go down in history, wouldn't the world be black and white upside down? Therefore, inhumanity may be the biggest reason why he can't enter the historical records.

There is an old saying called "the Spring and Autumn War without meaning". I'm afraid it's not just war. I am afraid that even these "assassins" who are famous for their "assassinations" are not all heroes now. Sometimes, in order to repay the kindness imposed on you by others and give up your life for a confidant, it is actually an invisible increase.

For example, He Lv and Wu Zixu are good partners. One is to usurp and seize power, and the other is to avenge himself with the help of Wu's strength. First, they killed Wu Wangliao, and then they hired a divorce for fear of Qing Ji's revenge.

To be fair, Wu Wangliao didn't do anything to fish people, but his death was due to He Lv's self-interest. What part of Qing Ji's rebellion and assassination left was not a disaster caused by the lust for power of He Lv, the prince of Wu?

Therefore, from the Spring and Autumn Period, I am afraid that no war was a "just war" throughout the Warring States Period.
