Application method of GPS in pipeline construction lofting

GPS satellite positioning survey is a space technology to solve geodesy by using GPS system. GPS has omni-directional, global, all-weather, continuous and real-time accurate three-dimensional navigation and positioning functions, and has good anti-interference and confidentiality. Therefore, GPS technology has been widely used in geodetic survey, engineering survey, aerial photogrammetry, ocean survey, urban survey and other surveying and mapping fields [1, 2].

2. The application, advantages and disadvantages of 2.RTK technology in road survey.

RTK technology has applications in drawing large-scale topographic map, control survey, line survey, road centerline survey, highway longitudinal and cross-section lofting, construction survey and so on. With the continuous development and improvement of dynamic GPS measurement technology, it will fully show the high precision and high benefit of this technology and play a greater role in the development and progress of highway engineering construction.

GPS survey can be divided into three stages in practical work: scheme design, field implementation and indoor data processing. In order to reflect the advantages of GPS measurement process, GPS measurement is compared with traditional measurement, and the results are shown in table 1.
