The only thing that brings substantial changes in function is its ALH intelligent LED headlights. ALH headlight was originally the standard of CX-9, but it was increased from the original 4 groups of array LEDs to 20 groups, which greatly enhanced the lighting efficiency and improved the driving safety at night. In addition to active corner turning lighting, it mainly supports intelligent light shape changes including anti-glare high beam mode, wide-angle low beam mode and high-speed mode. However, as the author mentioned in the previous test drive, there is a gap between this CX-9 car and the new generation cars such as Angkor Sela, and there is still room for improvement in lens resolution and scene distortion, especially after replacing it with a 9-inch screen. If it can be replaced by Angkor Serra's camera lens, I believe it will be improved a lot.

For the rest of the details, the AWD flagship evolution model I test-drive has more 7-inch digital instruments, borderless rearview mirrors, solid wood decorative panels, skylights and Napa breathable leather chairs than the 2WD flagship model, and the texture is naturally better. And the new year's style has also changed the color matching and shape of the seat. In addition to changing the orange-red seat to earth tone, Napa seat also adds white piping, which makes it feel better.

The change of seat space and 3C support function are also the focus of CX-9 in the new year. However, the new year CX-9 upgraded the original GVC system to GVC+ version. Driving CX-9 in the new year, although the upgrade of GVC+ system and off-road tracking assistance is actually difficult to feel the difference, I think CX-9 is really excellent in power performance, even if I experience it again later!

The power of 2.5 T pulls up a huge body, and the characteristics of low rotation and high torsion are quite supportive. The 6-speed automatic shift has a smooth and linear rhythm, and you can enjoy a moment of fun by switching to the "Sport" sports shift mode.
