How to solve projector skew

Causes and solutions of screen skew of projector;

There is a principle that must be followed in the installation and debugging of the projector, that is, the middle line of the light beam emitted by the projector must be perpendicular to the projection screen, or the plane where the curtain is located must be parallel to the plane where the projector lens is located, so as to ensure that the projected picture is trapezoidal. The reason is simple: the farther the light is from the curtain, the bigger the image, and the closer it is to the curtain, the smaller the image. Only when all sides are equidistant can the size of the whole image be the same. Assuming that the projection mode is as shown in the upper left picture, the following four situations may occur:

1. If there is a vertical trapezoid with big top and small bottom, it means that the projection lens (the front of the fuselage) is tilted upwards;

2. If the upper part is small and the lower part is large, it means that the projection lens (the front part of the fuselage) is tilted downward;

3. If the left side is big and the right side is small, it means that the left side of the projector is far from the projector and the right side is close. Looking down from the back of the fuselage is equivalent to turning counterclockwise in the standard position.

4. If the left side is big and the right side is small, it means that the right side of the projector is far from the projector and the left side is close. Looking down from the back of the fuselage is equivalent to turning clockwise in the standard position.

The above problems appear, as long as you return to the most standard position in the opposite direction. Of course, it is also possible that the two kinds of problems are stacked together into a trapezoid, which looks more troublesome and all sides are crooked. At this time, you just need to press up and down parallel and left and right parallel to get one of them first and then get the other.

Of course, at present, many projectors already have trapezoidal correction function (it is not recommended to use this function as a last resort, which will lead to the decline of image edge quality). It may be because the original machine has set a certain correction, so there will be problems when the projector projects according to the standard In this case, it is necessary to check the trapezoidal correction parameters in the settings first, and then adjust them after zeroing.
