Why is the record of World War I less than that of World War II?

World War I was not talked about as much as World War II. Personally, I think there are several reasons.

1: The essence of war, World War I was essentially a hegemonic war of several European powers, and there was no justice or not, which was much worse than the protagonist's aura of the just war against fascism born in World War II.

2. Low technical and tactical level. World War I was an artillery, infantry and trench war. Boring, purely the piling process of manpower and firepower figures.

3. World War I is an unfinished war. After World War I, instead of solving Europe's problems and establishing a new international order, it became more chaotic. In addition to the original powers, nationalism and colonialism, it also joined the new forces such as fascism and capitalism. A large-scale and devastating war not only did not solve the problem, but aggravated it, which also made future generations talk about World War I with more labels such as reflection.

However, World War I is also of great historical significance. In terms of power, the emerging nationalism and oppressed national independence and liberation consciousness in the Asian, African and Latin American colonies began to awaken. In terms of technology and tactics, modern high-tech weapons such as airplanes, aircraft carriers and tanks began to be applied to the battlefield, and began to change the operational forms and the use of strategies and tactics. Cruel fighting has produced a large number of generals. Many famous soldiers who were active in the battlefield of World War II participated in World War I, so it may be said that World War I was the foreshadowing and prelude of World War II, which finally decided the history and pattern of mankind to this day.
