What does PM motor mean?

Permanent magnet motor: Permanent magnet synchronous motor (divided into IPM and SPM, i.e. salient pole and hidden pole) is a synchronous motor excited by permanent magnet to generate synchronous rotating magnetic field, which is called permanent magnet synchronous motor.

Working principle: permanent magnet is used as rotor to generate rotating magnetic field, and three-phase stator winding reacts with armature under the action of rotating magnetic field to induce three-phase symmetrical current. At this time, the kinetic energy of the rotor is converted into electrical energy, and the permanent magnet synchronous motor is used as a generator.

Extended data:

The stator and rotor of the whole motor are axially divided into two sections, the middle of which is separated by a magnetic separator, and the two sections are separated by a step angle, and each section consists of stator, rotor and annular winding sleeved on the stator. The pole pieces on the circumference of the inner hole of the stator are arranged symmetrically in claw shape, two groups of annular windings are connected in series outwards in reverse, and two sections of annular magnetic steel of the stator are coaxially connected in the same direction and are magnetized radially.

Application fields: computer peripheral equipment, photography system, viewpoint combination device, valve control, numerical control machine tool, automatic winding machine, medical equipment, electronic clock, automatic embroidery machine, office automation, household appliances industry.
