Hurt locker's behind-the-scenes tidbits

This film is a participating film in the 65th Venice Film Festival. The film production team had to move to Amman, the capital of Jordan, because they didn't get permission to shoot at the US military base in Kuwait. At first, the film went through a very difficult period in casting and arranging the main behind-the-scenes staff. The main reason is that it needs to be filmed in the Middle East, especially in Jordan, which is adjacent to Iraq. The Jordanian army has been providing 24-hour protection for filming. They patrol the shooting scene and outside the hotel where the actors and staff rest. Less than a week after the filming, Jordan suffered the worst heat wave in summer. The temperature was so high that photographer barry ackroyd got sunstroke and had to stop filming. Jeremy Renner, one of the main actors, tripped and rolled down several flights of stairs while filming a scene in which an Iraqi child escaped. The filming was interrupted for several days again until Reina's ankle healed. During the filming, a car full of Iraqi refugees (all hired extras) overturned on the roadside. Fortunately, except for a few people who had abrasions, the most serious nasal bone was crushed, and no one was seriously injured in this accident. No matter whether you go to Jordan or come back from there, there are always several important American staff members who are "treated" by airport security when they pass the security check at American airports. One of the producers was even taken away for questioning after returning to Los Angeles.
