Diversity and unity is the application of the law of unity of opposites in art, which reveals that everything is unity of opposites, including contradictions, and both sides of contradictions are unity of opposites and full of struggles, thus promoting the development of things. Diversity and unity are contradictory unity. When used for picture composition, it means that the picture should be varied, uniform and regular, and not chaotic. Without unified diversity, it will be chaotic, and without diversity, it will be monotonous, rigid and lifeless. In short, the composition should be complicated but not chaotic, unified but not dead. When shooting different scenes, we should strive to achieve diversity and unity. The application of diversity and unity in picture construction is to arrange many scattered performance objects in the picture reasonably according to the principle of performance subject, so as to achieve the unity of content and form. There is no fixed pattern of composition, and any "triangle composition", "S-shaped composition", "diagonal composition" and "golden section composition" are all compositions.
