Guangdong historical and cultural exhibition

The exhibition hall of "Guangdong History and Culture Exhibition" covers an area of more than 4,000 square meters, exhibiting more than 500 pieces/sets of cultural relics/kloc-0 and more than 300 photos. As one of the three basic exhibitions of Guangdong Provincial Museum, the exhibition shows the historical and cultural changes of Guangdong from Maba people to the founding of New China in an all-round and multi-angle way through rich exhibition means such as cultural relics, pictures, oil paintings, sculptures, models, multimedia and restoration scenes. "Guangdong Historical and Cultural Exhibition" consists of four chapters, which are arranged in chronological order, namely, the origin of South Guangdong, sailing the world, carrying forward the past, and Guangdong bonfire.

Guangdong natural resources exhibition

Guangdong Natural Resources Exhibition Hall covers an area of nearly 4,000 square meters, with seven exhibitions on geology and geomorphology, minerals, gems, Chinese herbal medicines, terrestrial wildlife, marine life and paleontology, mainly including our homeland-Geology and Geomorphology Museum, our treasure-Mineral Resources Museum, Shiling-Gem Museum and Lingnan Herbal Medicine.

Chaozhou woodcarving art exhibition

Chaozhou woodcarving art exhibition is divided into source, production, art, use and appreciation. More than 200 pieces (sets) of woodcarving articles were exhibited, including gold lacquer paintings, longevity screen pictures, round carved crab baskets, as well as unique shrines, pavilions, sedan chairs, incense burners, boxes, candy racks, paper coal barrels and so on. The curator vividly restored the scenes of the hall, bedroom and study of the traditional Chaoshan folk houses, and reproduced the exhibition and application of wood carving products in the traditional social life of Chaoshan folk.

Collection of ceramic exhibitions in past dynasties

Based on the development of China ceramics and the collection of ceramic cultural relics, the exhibition of ceramics in past dynasties shows the history of China ceramics from the Neolithic Age to the Qing Dynasty. The exhibition selected nearly 300 cultural relics from the collection, which comprehensively reflected the face of ancient ceramic culture in China from the aspects of technological progress, the evolution of utensils and foreign trade. The exhibition is divided into four parts: Look at the First Kiln Fire-the Origin of Pottery and the Origin of Porcelain; The Rise of Porcelain Country-the Development Period of Ceramics; Leading the Trend-the heyday of Ceramics; and The Pearl of the South China-the Development Course of Guangdong Ceramics.

Duanyan art exhibition

The exhibition hall of Purple Shi Ying Ning-Duanyan Art Exhibition covers an area of more than 600 square meters, and nearly 200 square meters of Duanyan are exhibited. The exhibition is divided into four parts. The first part: Review of inkstone forest, briefly introducing the origin, development history and characteristics of Duanyan. The second part: the essence of stone, introducing the unique natural properties of tailings. The third part: ingenuity, according to the materials from the technological process, carving techniques, inkstone shape style, decorative themes and artistry of five aspects to show and introduce the Duanyan technology. The fourth part: Engraving poems and inscriptions, taking more than 50 inscriptions on Duan inkstone in Ming and Qing Dynasties as examples, to show the deeper cultural connotation of inkstone. The Legend of Maritime Trade in Wanli Period (September 23, 20 15 to March 20, 20 16): Guangdong Provincial Museum explores the development, connotation and changes of maritime trade between China and the West in this period with the discovery and research of two sunken ships, Nan 'ao No.1 and Wanli. The exhibition is divided into five parts: the arrival of the golden age of China's maritime trade, the sinking of a ship in the blue sea-the discovery of a sunken ship in the eastern ocean, the circulation of goods to various countries-the maritime trade, the time capsule-the mobile society, and the intersection of East and West-the era of great navigation. Let the audience know this splendid picture through the exhibition, as a prelude to the golden age of China's maritime trade.

Collection of Fine Paintings since Song and Yuan Dynasties (September 2065438 16 to February 22, 20 16): This exhibition is sponsored by Guangdong Provincial Museum and divided into four parts: Song and Yuan Dynasties, Ming and Qing Dynasties and Modern Times. During the Song and Yuan Dynasties, its development can be seen from the limited traces. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties and modern times, a large number of artistic positions of various painting schools and famous artists were displayed in chronological order, which basically included most painting schools and their representative painters in the painting history of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
