Compared with other domestic film festivals, what are the new changes in Pingyao International Film Festival?

Pingyao International Film Festival is the fifth international film festival approved by the state after Shanghai Film Festival, Changchun Film Festival, Beijing International Film Festival and Silk Road Film Festival. It aims to strengthen the contact and cooperation between China's films and the international film industry, promote a wider dialogue and exchange with the world's films, establish standards that reflect China's cultural values, and establish a film evaluation system with global influence, so as to contribute to the cultural spread in China and the development of China's film industry.

More than 50 outstanding films from 18 countries and regions were screened, and eight units were set up, including Pingyao Night, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, premiere, special screening, best film screening, Pingyao Corner and movie master Melville Centennial Exhibition. During the film festival, four "forums/master classes" were held, with film directors, Jia and other film practitioners as keynote speakers, who exchanged film experiences face to face with the audience and shared their creative process.
