Dvsp is the standard format, and dvcam is the DV format defined by Sony.
In terms of image quality, there is no difference between dvsp and dvcam.
However, the dvcam format adds positioning control data, so the space occupied by using DVCAM will be larger than that of dvsp.
If you edit with a pair of knitting machines after shooting, it is appropriate to shoot in dvcam format.
If you use non-linear editing after shooting, you can shoot it as dvsp.
