How to use the flash of children's photographic equipment

1. The most commonly used skip flash is skip flash. If you use an external flash, you should be aware that direct glare will spoil the beauty of the photo. The solution to this problem is simple. The lamp holder of most external flashlights can rotate at a certain angle. Aim the lamp holder at the ceiling, and the light reflected from the ceiling becomes soft. 2. Filled flash In outdoor children's photography, if there is a shadow on the face of the subject or character, the simplest way to deal with it is to use a filled flash. The use of flash often needs to fill the flash. As the name implies, this method is to add a small amount of artificial light to the shadow area. When shooting outdoors, just turn on the flash, and the rest can be done by the camera. 3. Off-camera flash Without using a soft mask, off-camera flash is the only way to take wonderful photos. Off-site flashlines are cheap, but useful. Install the flash on the hot shoe seat of the flash line and place it on the left or right side of the camera to avoid the blunt effect caused by direct light. You can install the off-board flash on a tripod or a special lamp holder. 4. Using soft mask can weaken the hardness of light. It can soften the light and take better-looking photos. All external flashlights can use soft covers, and most digital SLR cameras can also use overhead flashlights. Soft mask is cheap, but practical. My own soft mask is made of a white milk box and fixed to the flash with a rubber band. Using flash correctly in children's photography can make you take wonderful photos. Children are advised not to use flash when taking pictures. If necessary, please pay attention to the above four methods of use.
