Yulin Laojie Life Scene Photography

Many people's impressions of Yulin in Shaanxi Province are still stuck in loess, sandstorm, poverty and coal. Yulin has changed a lot in recent decades. For a senior tourist player in Shaanxi, my biggest shame is that I have never been to Yulin, and I didn't set foot on this land until I went to Yulin for a business trip in April. Because there are many college students here, under their leadership, they not only enjoyed a lot of Yulin scenery, but also tasted a lot of Yulin snacks.

Everyone in Yulin knows that there is a characteristic street, namely Yulin Old Street in downtown Yulin. It may be an ordinary street for many locals, but it is very distinctive for me as a foreigner. It took me more than two hours to walk from Zhenyuanmen to Gulou. Although the buildings in Yulin Old Street are mostly late and not as lively as other scenic spots, you can feel the fireworks of the city here.

Some people pull donkeys to sell vegetables, some people shout with shoulder poles, and some people pull carts to sell them. This is just an old street where goods are traded, and there are almost no foreign tourists. For me, a place like this can really understand the city. Other scenic spots don't have so many pits to step on and are not so crowded. Walking on such a street is like getting closer and closer to the city in a park.

Of course, in addition to the shops on both sides of Yulin Old Street, there are buildings such as Wenchang Pavilion, Wanfolou Ancient Bank, Bell Tower, Kaige Building and Drum Tower. Although most of the buildings were built in the later period, we can still learn about the history of the city through these buildings. If you travel to Yulin, go to Baiyun Mountain, Bogu and Zhenbeitai. Don't miss this old Yulin Street which is neglected by the local people.
