Is there a big gap between 5D3 and 5D2?

Main differences:

The CPU of 1 and 5D3 is upgraded to DIGIC 5+, and 5D2 is DIGIC 4, so the continuous shooting speed of the former can reach 6 PCs per second;

2. The biggest improvement is the focusing system. 5D3 adopts 6 1 point focusing system (cross focusing is at most 4 1 point), which is much more powerful than 5D2.

The high sensitivity of 3.5D3 is much better. The normal ISO range is 100-25600, and 5D2 is 100-6400.

4.5D3 exposure supports 63-zone evaluation photometry, and 5D2 is 39-zone, so the actual difference of photometry is not obvious;

5. 5D3 also has powerful and practical functions such as silent shutter mode, HDR function, multiple exposure function and contrast playback function;

The viewfinder of 6.5D3 is 100%, and 5D2 seems to have only reached 98% of the viewing range.

Practical application experience:

The advantage of 5D3 lies in the detail and high sensitivity, and the focus is fast and accurate (depending on the lens, I use 24-70/2.8II). Focusing I like to focus with 4 1 dot cross, which almost never loses focus and has excellent focus tracking. 5D3 can completely omit the center point, and it is more convenient to choose the focusing composition, and the evaluation of photometric linkage is basically enough.

If you feel high, use a large aperture lens, obviously the picture quality below 3200 is not bad, and 6400 is passable, at least much better than 5D2.
