Zhao Xiaoshi's life

Zhao Xiaoshi, a famous cinematographer in China, is from Qiu County, Hebei Province. 1962 was born in Guangzhou. 65438-0979 joined Zhujiang Film Studio as a photography mechanic.

65438-0983 entered the photography specialty class of Beijing Film Academy. 1985 returned to Zhu Ying factory as a photographer. Co-produced the film "Scorpio" with Zheng. The film created a unified and harmonious atmosphere and varied colors, which made the whole film look deep and dignified and full of charm, and won the 1986 China Golden Rooster Award for Best Photography.

1987 filmed "coquettish ancient town", followed by "widow's village". In this film, a relatively peaceful modeling language is adopted. In order to express that kind of inner depression, the shooting focuses on the normal viewpoint, pays attention to the creation and expression of a specific atmosphere, and the picture is peaceful but not weird, striving to accurately express the psychological feelings of the characters. Through the processing of daytime scenes and night scenes, it is not only considered as a simple natural atmosphere.

When shooting sound, Zhao Xiaoshi emphasized documentary, used real scenes, imitated natural lighting effects, and used ready-made props and furnishings. The film won the Best Photography Award in the 6th Golden Rooster Award 1986.

1990 Zhao Xiaoshi's "Marrying a Woman" has strong artistic appeal and was selected to attend the 7th China Film Festival held in Montpellier in February 199 1. 199 1 won the special prize of the 17th Moscow International Film Festival.

In 2008, he was the photography director of Chen Kaige film Mei Lanfang.
