Yangzi Petrochemical Company: The project of adding desulfurization device to coal-fired boiler was successfully delivered.

Recently, the project of adding desulfurization device to coal-fired boilers in Yangzi Petrochemical Thermal Power Plant of China Petrochemical Company was successfully delivered, and the project entered the production preparation stage from the construction stage.

The project of installing desulfurization device for coal-fired boilers in Yangzi Petrochemical Thermal Power Plant adopted the "New Wet Ammonia Desulfurization Process" with independent intellectual property rights of China Petrochemical. The construction contents of this project include new boiler flue, new desulfurization device and ammonium sulfate device, transformation of the original desulfurization organization control room and new power distribution room. The project entity includes 2 desulfurization towers, 19 static equipment installation, 64 dynamic equipment installation, 963 1m pipeline installation, 24,800m cable laying and 345 electrical equipment installation.

After the completion of this project, the annual emission of sulfur dioxide can be reduced by about 25,000 tons, the emission of smoke and dust can be reduced by 480 tons, and the emission of nitrogen oxides can be reduced by 600 tons. After the project is put into use, Yangzi Petrochemical will further improve the level of energy conservation and emission reduction.

As the first desulfurization device adopting Sinopec's independent patent ammonia desulfurization technology, this project has the characteristics of high technological requirements and great difficulty. During the construction process, all parties involved in the war overcame some difficulties, such as imperfect "Four Innovations" process, difficult material procurement, long supply cycle of dual-phase steel and customized parts, complicated glass flake construction process, high quality requirements, and great difficulty in modular lifting process of frames.
