How does Huawei shoot snow?

Since modern mobile phones have been equipped with professional shooting mode, the quality of photos should be no problem.

But shooting snow scenes is a difficult problem. Because it is completely white, the dynamic range of the mobile phone is very small. Usually on cloudy days, the snow seen by the camera is gray, which makes the sky look lighter, but it is actually very distorted.

In this case, we need to click on the screen of the mobile phone, where you can see snowflakes and increase the exposure, so that the rest of the object will not be lost from the photo.

So you have to change the white balance. But the white balance condition function of mobile phone is too simple. To shoot in the sun, please choose the appropriate white balance.

If you take pictures in the sun, the snow will turn blue.

In this case, only the white balance needs to be changed. Unfortunately, the dynamic range of mobile phones is very low. If you can't get realistic photos through your mobile phone-don't worry. All this should be so, because it is just a mobile phone, this is not a camera.

Because I live in Russia and there is a lot of snow in winter, I often take photos in the snow, but I never rush to get perfect photos-I prefer to process photos in applications such as Lightroom or Adobe Photoshop.

I think it looks more natural, but it just changes the blue and blue tones and increases the brightness.

I think this is the most acceptable fact. Mobile phones won't make all your photos successful. But almost everything can be corrected by photo processing in different applications.
