2. Tiger leaping gorge

Hutiaoxia is located in the southeast of Zhongdian, which is105km away from Zhongdian County and 35km away from the first bay of the Yangtze River. It is divided into three sections: upper tiger jump, middle tiger jump and lower tiger jump, with a total of 18 shoal. The narrowest part of the river is only more than 30 meters. This river is surrounded by two snow-capped mountains, Yulong and Baja, with an altitude difference of more than 3,900 meters. The depth of this canyon is the highest in the world.

Starting from Hutiaoxia Town, you can enter the canyon by going downstream at the foot of Haba Snow Mountain in Chongjiang Cave. Tiger Leaping Gorge is 9 kilometers away from Tiger Leaping Gorge Town, which is the narrowest section of the whole canyon. This canyon is only over one meter wide. On the right side of the river, there is a huge stone, which is 13 meters high-Tiger Jumping Stone. The boulder is like a lonely peak, majestic and majestic. 3. Dukezong Ancient City

It was built according to the ideal country of Shambhala in Buddhist scriptures. The ancient city is built on the mountain, and the road surface is uneven. It is paved with some old stones with a long history and natural terrain, also known as "Moonlight City". Compared with Lijiang, Shangri-La is much smaller and quieter. Walking in the ancient city, you can always see Tibetans dressed in Tibetan costumes. Located in the ancient city, the Great Buddha Temple has the largest prayer wheel in the world, which needs the cooperation of more than 20 people in Qixin to turn. From 7: 00 to 8: 30 in the evening, there are Tibetans dancing pot and village dances in Sifang Street.

The goods sold are similar to those in Lijiang, but the price is really much cheaper. Many small things cost only a few yuan, such as bells, yak jerky, mountain products, hand-woven scarves and various ornaments.

4. Pudacuo National Park

Pudacuo is mainly composed of three scenic spots, which belong to Duhu-Mitang-Bitahai, and tourists are transported between the scenic spots by tour buses. It basically includes all the natural landscapes on the plateau. Mountains and lakes are like mirrors, pastures are rich in water and grass, wetlands are full of flowers, and birds and animals often haunt the virgin forest.

5. Meili Snow Mountain

Meili Snow Mountain is located in the northeast of Deqin County 10 km, where there are 13 peaks with an average elevation of more than 6000 meters. The highest is Kawalpo, with an altitude of 6740 meters, which is the first peak in Yunnan Province. Kavalpo is called "the God of Snow Mountain" in Tibetan, and it is a pilgrimage site of Tibetan Buddhism. According to legend, Gajuba, a branch of Ma Ning, is the protector, ranking first among the eight sacred mountains in Tibetan areas.

Meili Snow Mountain area is a paradise for hikers. There are several hiking routes, from Meili Snow Mountain to Bingzhongluo.

Best tourist season: The best season to see Meili Snow Mountain is winter and spring from June 5 to May. It is often covered by clouds in summer and autumn, so it is difficult to see the panoramic view of Xuefeng. Generally, it is easier to see the snow-capped mountains when the sun just comes out in the morning. The best places to watch: First, Feilai Temple, west of Deqin, where you can have a panoramic view of the thirteen peaks of Meili; The second is the Prince Temple on the Mingyong Glacier.

6. Songzanlin Temple

Also known as Guihua Temple, it is located at the foot of Foping Mountain, 5 kilometers north of Shangri-La. It is one of the "Thirteen Forests" built by the Fifth Dalai Lama and Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty on 1679. It is not only the largest Tibetan Buddhist temple community in Yunnan, but also the center of Yellow Religion in Sichuan and Yunnan, and is known as the "Little Potala Palace". Built on the mountain, the temple looks like an old castle, integrating Tibetan plastic arts and is known as the Tibet Art Museum.

On the 29th of the lunar calendar 1 1 every year, Tibetans hold the Gedong Festival, which focuses on "jumping to the gods" (masked dance). The atmosphere is mysterious and warm.

7. Mingyong Glacier

Mingyong Glacier extends downward in an arc from Meili Snow Mountain at an altitude of 6,740 meters to a virgin forest area of 2,600 meters, stretching for 1 1.7 kilometers, with an average width of 500 meters and an area of 13 square kilometers, with an annual melting water of 232 million cubic meters. Whenever the temperature of the snow-capped mountains rises in the scorching sun, glaciers are heated and melted, and hundreds of huge ice bodies collapse and move down, giving off images.

Route: Take Yunnan-Tibet Highway 10 km from the west of Deqin County, and you will arrive at Feilai Temple, where you can see the peaks of Meili Snow Mountain towering into the sky. Take a bus from Feilai Temple, then walk more than 20 kilometers west to Daming Yong Village. The whole journey takes about 1.5 hours.

Tickets: 63 yuan, there is a cement house on the Lancang River Bridge before crossing the Jinsha River, which is where tickets are sold; Ride to and from 80 yuan. It takes about 1 km to reach the Prince Temple at the foot of the glacier.

8. Baishuitai

Bai Di Village, Sanba Township, located in the southeast of Shangri-La, is the birthplace of Dongba religion of Naxi nationality. From a distance, the shape of the white water platform in the castle peak is really like a terrace. Under the sunlight, it is like a solidified waterfall in a photographic work. One foot on the white stone steps is unspeakable.

On the eighth day of February every year, it is the annual "White Water Welcome" activity of Naxi people. Naxi people from all directions gather here to dance, have a picnic and pray for a bumper harvest in the coming year. According to legend, the two gods of Naxi changed such a "terraced field" in order to let the local Naxi people learn to cultivate farmland, so there is also a saying that "the gods leave the fields".
