Fine Snow is a Japanese film based on a novel by Japanese director KonIchikawa. This novel is its representative and is called a model of Japanese aestheticism. It tells the different life trajectories of four intellectual women in the alternation of old and new times, and shows the contradiction and conflict between feudalism and new ideas. 1983 won the second place in the top ten awards of the ten-day film newspaper, and was named the ninth among the top ten Japanese films in the 1980s.

Showa early years.
