Set up a photography club when you grow up.
An unparalleled genius, sneaking into the Gestapo.
Abel is German, 1903 was born in England, but his parents are Russian. His father Henrik is a revolutionary. He was arrested and exiled for opposing the czar regime and had to take refuge in Britain with his family. Even abroad, Henrich is still engaged in revolutionary movements, helping his colleagues at home transport weapons. Henrich's behavior deeply influenced Abel, which was an important factor in his espionage when he grew up.
Abel's learning ability is extremely strong, and it is not an exaggeration to say that he is a genius. Because there are spies from all over the world at home, Abel can speak fluent English, Russian, Polish and German through long-term contact with these people. Abel's cleverness is not only reflected in language, but also in science and art, especially in painting and photography.
At the end of 1939, the Germans invaded Poland, the Soviet authorities realized the crisis, and the war was on the verge. So-called? Know yourself and know yourself to be invincible? Before the war with the Germans, the Soviet Union urgently needed a spy who could be undercover inside the Nazis for a long time to provide military intelligence information. After repeated selection, this arduous task naturally fell to Abel, who is proficient in German and outstanding.
In order to get in touch with the Germans better, Abel disguised himself as a German refugee whose parents died and went to Riga, the capital of Latvia. In the local German diaspora club, Abel met many Germans and established good relations with them. Abel knew that many of these people were members of the Gestapo (German secret police), so he deliberately showed a strong interest in Nazism, which attracted the attention of some secret police.
Soon, the Gestapo took Abel as his subordinate.
Sow discord, and the fisherman gains.
With what? Extremely loyal to the Fuhrer? Abel, like a duck to water, rose several levels in a row and eventually became a lieutenant colonel in the SS.
Although both places were under Hitler's jurisdiction, there were many contradictions between the SS and the Gestapo. These two secret services strive for merits and profits for their own interests, and even undermine each other. Clever Abel seized this point and planned to provoke the relationship between the two to get more information.
This time, under the instruction of the superior, Abel needs to get the list of underground workers sent abroad by the Gestapo. So Abel found an old acquaintance Huck. Huck is a Gestapo major. In the previous secret mission, Abel saved him from being crushed to death by the collapsed beam.
In return for saving his life, Huck made a plan: The Gestapo was planning an operation to secretly kill 1000 Jews in concentration camps and replace them with 1000 spies.
These spies will undergo special cosmetic surgery, after which they will have the same appearance as the deceased, thus completely replacing the deceased. They will be arranged all over the world, thus forming a huge spy network of thousands of people and providing secret reports to the country continuously.
Abel foresaw the danger: once the plan was successful, not only the SS would lose face, but also the military information of the Soviet Union and other countries would be leaked. So he took out the photo album that recorded his appearance from the box, took photos in turn with a miniature camera, and made a backup in time. One copy was given to the SS and the other was secretly sent to Moscow.
Accidentally, his identity was exposed.
World War II is over, but Abel's spy work continues. He disguised himself as a painter and was sent to America to collect useful information for Moscow.
Everything was planned perfectly, but the accident happened.
1953 One day, 13-year-old boy Boza delivered newspapers in the community. Unfortunately, a nickel fell out of his pocket, but he didn't pay attention and stepped on it. But who knows that the coin suddenly broke and there was a mini film in it.
Boza's brother-in-law happens to be a policeman. Hearing this, he handed the fake coins to the FBI. After identification, there were some numbers on the microfilm, so the FBI concluded that there were spies in the area.
Three years later, the FBI arrested some Soviet spies, and one of them confessed the address of the leader under coercion and inducement, which happened to be where Boza found the coin. These two things happen at the same time. Soon, the police locked Abel, arrested him and sentenced him to 30 years in prison.
During his imprisonment, Abel refused to cooperate with the United States, and the Soviet Union tried to rescue him from prison many times in vain. 1962, the Soviet union arrested an American pilot, so it reached an agreement with the United States to exchange this pilot for Abel's return to China.
After that, Abel bid farewell to front-line work and began to train more spy talents. Considering his meritorious service, the Soviet Union awarded him the highest honor-Lenin Medal, and said? Soviet hero? This is the end of an era.
Abel's ups and downs of life legend, which is also a microcosm of many spy lives. If he hadn't infiltrated the Nazis and obtained first-hand information, the world anti-fascist war might have been much more difficult than in real history.
