Basic situation of Xu Xiang

Born in Haimen City, Jiangsu Province, 1977,

In 2003, he graduated from Shangmei College of Nanjing University of Arts with a bachelor's degree in 2D animation.

In 2009, he graduated from Media College of Nanjing Art College with a master's degree in digital media.

Engaged in the teaching of pre-production and post-production of film and television.

The main courses include post-film editing, screen editing technology, image practice, short film creation without plot, short film creation, graduation project and so on.

He has led students to win the "Best Creative Award" in the National College Student Art Festival, the "Best Video Short Film Award" in the China Digital Festival, and the "Academy Award" in the Film and Television Society of China University, and participated in many works in the National College Student Advertising Art Competition.

Compiling the Teaching Material of Digital Image Art

Engaged in the research of pioneer experimental animation and experimental images.

The animated short film "When Night Fall" won the "Academic Award" of the first animated short film of China Television Association.

The digital short film Taxi won the best DV short film award, the best director award and the best popularity award in the first digital short film competition in Jiangsu Province. Won the "Best Director", "Best Camera" and "Best Music" in the National DV Short Film Competition for College Students.

"Best Screenplay" and "Best Music Award" were shortlisted for four films;

The digital music "Buddha's Realm" produced a video and won the first prize of Class C of Beijing International Electronic Music Festival;

The digital short film "Door" won the "Best Visual Effect Award" in the Second Digital Short Film Competition of Jiangsu Province, the "Golden Panda" Award in the 2009 (10th) Sichuan TV Festival, and the special award of the judges in the category of international film and television works.

The digital short film "Those Flowers" won the "Best Director Award" in the Second Digital Short Film Competition of Jiangsu Province;

The series of digital short films "Water" won the "Best Creative Award" in the Second Digital Short Film Competition of Jiangsu Province; Nomination Award of the 10th Peking University Experimental Short Film Professional Group;

The second series of digital short film "Water" won the first prize of Wang Scholarship of Nanjing Art Institute, the second prize of the third animation, photography and new media art competition (exhibition) of China Academy Award, and the second series was nominated for the best creative award of experimental works in the "Golden Panda" Award of Sichuan TV Festival in 2009 (the tenth). The second work won the first prize of multimedia in the 6th musicacostica- Beijing Electronic Music Creation Competition in 2009, and was selected as the "Poplar Award" in the 4th China (Beijing) International College Animation Festival.

The work "Water" was selected for the graphic design of the 11th National Art Exhibition;
