"In the Mood for Love" Why can Wong Kar-wai make such a superb film?

This magnificent In the Mood for Love is Wong Kar-wai's masterpiece for more than ten years. Layers of mystery wrapped up the complex psychological changes of two people. There are too many unknown secrets hidden under such a simple story, far from telling the story of extramarital love, but in a chaotic environment, the collective loss, the helplessness of collective loneliness, the helplessness of everyone and the loneliness of everyone are all rendered to the extreme through this extramarital love.
