Yunshan Pincui refers to the Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area. Baiyun Mountain is 15 kilometers north of Guangzhou. It consists of more than 30 peaks and covers an area of ??28 square kilometers. Baiyun Mountain is the remnant of Dayuling Mountain among the Five Mountains. It stands in the Pearl River Delta and is known as "the most famous mountain in Lingnan" and "the most beautiful mountain in Yangcheng". The highest peak, Moxingling, is 382 meters above sea level and is known as the "No. 1 Peak in the South of China". Baiyun Mountain blocks the humid sea breeze, so white clouds often rise. "White clouds fly on Baiyun Mountain, and white clouds surround Baiyun Mountain below." Baiyun Mountain gets its name.
Since ancient times, Baiyun Mountain has been a famous scenic spot in Guangzhou. It has always been rated as one of the eight scenic spots in Guangzhou, such as: Pujian Lianquan, Baiyun Evening View, Jingtai Monk Returns, Baiyun Pine Waves, Yunshan Splendid and so on. Yunshan Zhushui is known as the most representative natural landscape in Guangzhou. Since 1993, the Guangzhou Municipal Government has planned the Pearl River as a scenic river section. After years of planning, pollution reduction and interception, river digging, river bank decoration, landscape planning and other projects, a 23-kilometer scenic corridor of the Pearl River has gradually been formed. The river water is getting clearer and clearer. There are many beautiful buildings and buildings on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, and the "Pearl River Rainbow" project is gradually being built. High-rise buildings with more than 8 floors near the river are decorated with colored lights and spotlights. 180 double-sided light-transmitting and uniform billboards are built among the trees on the sidewalk, with kapok-shaped lighting in the middle. At night, when the lanterns are turned on, the lights of thousands of houses on both sides of the Pearl River are overflowing with color and gorgeous. Huanghua Post is located on Xianmarty Middle Road in Guangzhou. It was built to commemorate the revolutionary martyrs who died in the Guangzhou Uprising led by Sun Yat-sen on April 27, 1911.
On the day of the uprising, Huang Xing led more than 160 members of the Revolutionary Party vanguard in the uprising. They fought fiercely with the Qing army for a whole day and night. They were outnumbered, ran out of ammunition and food, and suffered a tragic defeat with heavy casualties. Later, the names of the martyrs were found ***86 Afterwards, the revolutionary Pan Dawei risked his life to collect the 72 skeletons of the martyrs and buried them together in Honghuagang. He reported the burial situation in the newspaper with the title "New Ghost Record in Front of the Council, Party Monument on Huanghuagang". Therefore, Honghuagang was renamed Huanghuagang, and the uprising was called Huanghuagang Uprising. Dr. Sun Yat-sen called it an uprising that "shocked the world and made ghosts and gods weep". Although this uprising failed, it greatly stimulated the fighting spirit of the people across the country. Uprisings surged across the country, one after another. Six months later, the Wuchang Uprising succeeded, finally overthrowing the Qing Dynasty and ending China's two thousand years of feudal autocratic monarchy.
In 1912, the Guangdong military government allocated funds to build a martyrs' mausoleum on the site, and Sun Yat-sen planted green pine trees himself. In 1918, Fang Shengtao, the division commander of the Yunnan Army (brother of the martyr Fang Shengdong) raised funds to build it and it began to take shape. After many constructions, it was basically completed to its current size in 1935 and was turned into Huanghuagang Park.
The cemetery faces south and is large in scale and majestic, covering an area of ??130,000 square meters. There are iron railings around the stone fence. There is a tomb pavilion built in the center of the tomb. In the pavilion is the tombstone "Tomb of the Seventy-Two Martyrs". The top of the pavilion is like a hanging bell, which means a warning bell for fighting for freedom. In the stele pavilion on the right side of the tomb stands the "Stele of the Seventy-two Martyrs of Huanghuagang", with the names of 72 martyrs engraved on it. Next to it are tombstones with the names of 14 martyrs that were later found and engraved. Behind the tomb is an inscription by Zhang Binglin titled "The Commemoration of the Seventy-Two Martyrs of the Republic of China". In the middle of the top floor of the square, 72 rectangular stones are stacked horizontally and cut into a mountain-shaped offering stone mound, symbolizing the 72 martyrs. At the top stands a stone sculpture of the Statue of Liberty holding a torch high. In addition, there are many monumental buildings built around it. Along the central axis, there are squares, archways, tomb passages, moon pools, altars, tombs, and memorial halls, which together with the tomb passages form the whole cemetery. Various plants with yellow flowers are planted throughout the garden, such as yellow jasmine, yellow spike crown, yellow peony, yellow plum, sweet-scented osmanthus and yellow-flowered oleander. The yellow flowers bloom all the time, symbolizing the immortal spirit of the martyrs.

In 1986, it was named one of the "Eight Scenic Spots of Yangcheng" for its "magnificent yellow flowers".

[Lianfeng Guanhai]

Lianhua Mountain Scenic Area is located in the east of Panyu District. The main peak of Lotus Mountain is 105 meters above sea level and consists of 40 hills. It is named after the beautiful lotus stones standing on the mountain. It is known as the "Lotus Land".
There are ancient quarry ruins on Lianhua Mountain, which can be traced back to the Western Han Dynasty, with a mining area of ??more than 500 acres. Eight of the 12 kinds of stones used in the tomb of the King of Nanyue were mined here. This "artificial unintentional workmanship" ancient quarry site is lined with strange peaks and caves, and steep cliffs in various shapes and forms. It forms the Lotus Rock, Elephant Trunk Mountain, Divine Mirror, Tianchi, Nantianmen, Cloud Ladder, Goldfish Pond, and Lotus. Dongtian, Splashing Jade, Guanyin Rock, Feiying Rock and other scenic spots.
On the top of the main peak of Beishan, stands the beautiful Lotus Tower 50 meters high. It stands side by side with Pazhou Tower and Chigang Tower, dominating the Pearl River Estuary and is known as the "Huabiao of the Provincial Capital". This pagoda was first built in the 14th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1612). It was rebuilt in 1981 with donations from brothers He Xian and He Tian, ??who were compatriots from Hong Kong and Macao. The current tower is a pavilion-style brick tower with an octagonal plane. It has 9 floors on the outside and 11 floors on the inside. There are steps inside the tower that can go straight to the top. Looking up from the top of the tower, you can have a panoramic view of the vast Humen Waterway, the jade towers of Yangcheng reaching into the blue sky, the clouds and canopies of Huangpu New Port, and the scenery of the Pearl River.
On the top of the second peak of Lianhua Mountain is the ancient city of Lianhua, which straddles the throat of Guangdong Province. This city was built in the third year of Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1664). It was used as a sentry post to prevent Zheng Chenggong, the late Ming Dynasty’s remaining minister, from attacking the southeastern coast. , Lin Zexu once fortified it here during the Opium War.
In recent years, a more than 40-meter-high sea-viewing Guanyin has been built on Lotus Mountain. It is said to be the tallest gold-foiled Guanyin statue in the world. She is holding a jade purification vase, with kind eyebrows and kind eyes, looking down at the South China Sea, as if she is wishing people good weather, peace and prosperity for the country and the people.
Lianhua Mountain is the first panyu landscape to win the title since the Song Dynasty began to select "Eight Scenic Spots of Yangcheng". It not only makes Panyu the embodiment of Guangzhou's urban area, but also marks the breakthrough of the landscape city and the development of the "mountain city, sea field" pattern. Viewing the sea from Lotus Peak means that Guangzhou City has finally stood on the seaside.
