Lenin decided to build a power station there. Although the project is not large, it is the first Soviet power station built after the revolution, which has attracted the attention of the whole country. People flocked there from all directions, hoping to contribute their strength. And the conditions there are hard, which these construction workers can't imagine.

Vasily Gubanov is a member of this construction army. He was born in a worker's family and entered the factory at the age of 12. During the October Revolution, he joined the revolutionary ranks, joined the Party, and later took part in the civil war and was injured. However, instead of living on disability benefits, he limped a long way to Satura to participate in the power station construction. His injured leg aches from time to time. In Satura, he could hardly hold on.

But the power station doesn't even have a receiving station. People who come to participate in the construction must find their own places to live. So in a small village near the construction site, almost every family was overcrowded. Vasily went there several times, but he hit a nail. He can't even take out the money, because the people haven't recognized the new coins issued by the Soviet regime. Finally, Vasily took out a big piece of candy and finally found a place to live with a farmer.

There are only two couples in this family. The husband's name is fedor and the wife's name is Niu Da. Before Vassili arrived, the family had three tenants: one was Stepan and the other was called the poor priest. There is also a young man named Dennis.
