□Revealing the behind-the-scenes

Why is "Langya Bang" so beautiful? "Professional aesthetics" make a good work

Scene setting

The characters in the play The scenery gives people a feeling of light up. Mei Changsu's unique and elegant house was built by the art department in the film and television city. The prison where Mr. Xie was imprisoned was also built in the studio. From color matching to scenery, although it is an imaginary history, it is more thoughtful than many official histories.

Hou Hongliang: The overall cost of art is more than 10 million yuan, accounting for more than 10% of the total investment, which is considered high among costume dramas. It cost one to two million to build Mei Changsu's house. At Hengdian Film and Television City, our crew is famous for being fickle. Mei Changsu's house was not completely rebuilt every tree and plant. The foundation still used the framework of the film and television city and underwent a large-scale transformation. The main hall is almost a structural transformation, such as bamboo and cobblestone paths, which were laid and planted later. Every detail of the house is designed to conform to our recognition of the ancient scenery. The workload of each royal palace and palace was also very large, some were changes in the overall tone, some were re-divided on the original basis, and not a single scene was shot simply by putting on props.

Many of the scenery in the play are made with special effects. For example, the mountains where pigeons fly over and the cities on the battlefield are all made after visual effects drawings are drawn and then shot. The amount of special effects is not small. The reason why it was not criticized by the audience as "50-cent special effects" is because the special effects team has a high professional level. They did the special effects of the planes taking off and landing in "All Quiet in Peking".

Composition

The scenes in the play have been studied by professional drama fans, indicating that the play strictly follows the diagonal, the rule of thirds, and the golden section. , Fibonacci spiral composition, even small details such as the placement of curtains, the posture of pushing the door, and the position of the characters are not missed. One of the classic clips is Qin Banruo, dressed in purple, riding a carriage out of the city and walking to the camera. At one-third of the scene, the car curtain is gently lifted to look up, and the camera movements are divided just right.

Kong Sheng: I have a string in my head. I will try my best to make the picture to a good standard. When the audience sees it, they will also think that the picture is good-looking. The money spent is still effective, right? . I think TV dramas are still a kind of graphic art and audio-visual means. Are you using these means to tell stories? Do you still care about this scene? Care about this light? Care about how the actor feels at that moment? There are many things in the art of light and shadow that you cannot express in words.

Etiquette

As a palace drama, "Langya Bang" spares no effort to pursue perfection in etiquette movements. They invited the etiquette director Zhang Xiaolong's team from "The Legend of Zhen Huan" to participate and standardize The actor's behavior and movements are formulated for each scene that requires the use of rituals. There are different standards for greetings, kowtows, sacrifices and kneeling, etc.

Hou Hongliang: Standards of etiquette are an essential part of filming costume dramas. Although "Nirvana in Fire" is an alternate history novel, this drama does not deliberately place this story in a certain dynasty. Because what we are conveying is traditional Chinese culture, we want the audience to see what they imagined the ancients looked like, so we are particularly particular about clothing, etiquette, and combat.

Costumes

The hair crowns of the characters in the play adopt different materials and styles according to their personal status and age. For example, they are both princes, Prince Yu of the Seven Pearls and Prince Jing of the Five Pearls. The hair crowns worn by kings in the court are very different; the color of the clothes changes from dark to light according to the power from high to low. The crew also strives to be realistic when choosing materials. Hu Ge's jade is made of real jade, and the armor worn by ordinary soldiers is also made of real iron and steel.

Kong Sheng: Mei Changsu’s jade crown is made of jade. Although they are not high-quality jade, they are all real and specially customized. Everyone likes them very much. In the script, it is said that Prince Jing gave Mei Changsu a "egg-sized" pearl, and the props were actually made to be as big as that. In fact, that one was not done well. To be honest, I think the texture of that one is not good, and it does not have the texture of a pearl. And it's too big.

Supporting Roles

The supporting roles in the play are also well-established. For example, the actors who played Concubine Jing and Xie Yu had played Nie Xiaoqian and Ning Caichen. The version is called "Love between Man and Ghost", and the director of the play is Kong Sheng.

Zhang Yanyan, who plays the eldest princess of Liyang, appeared in the martial arts drama "The History of Martial Arts" in 2001.
