Leica M8.2 basic information

Leica announced the launch of M8 upgraded digital camera on September 6th, 2008:

It is estimated that it will be listed on 10, and the price has not yet been determined.

M8.2 adopts103,000 pixels 18×27mm(APSH size) sensor, DNG RAW and JPEG file formats, and supports M manual mode and aperture priority mode. The back of the machine is equipped with a 2.5-inch 230,000 pixel LCD.

The improvements of Leica M8.2 compared with M8 include:

1. A new metal focal plane shutter. In order to reduce the shutter sound, the highest speed shutter is changed from 1/8000s to 1/4000s.

2. scratch-resistant LCD sapphire glass

3. Brand-new follow-up mode-designed for users who know nothing about photography.

4. Improve the shutter/aperture adjustment mode

5. Wear-resistant hard rubber edging

6. Portable charger, which can fully charge 80% of electricity in one and a half hours.

7. The black version of M8 is marked with the black Leica logo.
