How about Canon wide angle fixed focus 24mm

1. I have a Canon 24/1.4, which is very good at shooting night scenes. The main features are: due to the large aperture, there is less noise in low illumination (dark light), and it is great for shooting large-scale night scenes. You can take very clear pictures without using a flash;

2. If you like to take photos of outdoor scenes (with a relatively wide range), you will take more photos in low light, especially at night, and you will be interested in the quality of the pictures. If you have higher requirements, 24 is suitable;

3. 24 is not suitable for taking portraits (too close, and the portrait will be easily deformed);

4. If you want to get Canon 24 /1.4, you can consider 35/1.4.

35/1.4 can basically complete most of the functions of 24/1.4. Although the shooting angle of 35/1.4 is a bit narrower than that of 24, 35/1.4 is better for shooting portraits. The performance of 1.4 is superior to that of 24/1.4;

So the 35mm can be used to shoot outdoor scenes and portraits;

Use 35mm for portrait photography, especially when shooting in groups, it has the advantage of distance , because although the image quality of 50/1.2 or 85/1.2 is better than that of 35/1.4 when shooting portraits, when more than 10 people take pictures around a model, people with a focal length greater than 50mm will often be blocked by the people in front of them. If you use 35mm, your best shooting distance is in front of other photographers. No one competes with you for position and angle. This is the distance advantage of 35mm for portrait shooting.

The above is my personal opinion, please correct me if it is inappropriate. There’s no harm in listening to other people’s opinions when buying a lens.
