Marie Antoinette ③: The Queen of Rococo.

On May 1774, Louis XV, who had been fighting smallpox for more than ten days, was critically ill.

With the cry of "Long live the king when he dies" resounding through the Palace of Versailles, Louis XVI ascended the throne of France, and Marie Antoinette became the hostess of France.
