Six people in Japan have died of thrombocytopenia caused by webbed bites.

The outbreak of H7N9 avian influenza only occurred in Chinese mainland. Recently, a new virus spread by mites appeared in Japan. At the beginning of this month (4th), a woman in Kagoshima was bitten by this webworm, and a virus appeared in her body, which may cause "severe febrile thrombocytopenia syndrome", becoming the latest death case and the sixth case in Japan.

According to the Kagoshima medical unit, the woman was initially hospitalized with fever and other symptoms, and died about 1 week later. The nursing staff said that she was bitten by a webbed leg, and the Institute of Infectious Diseases examined the woman and found a virus in her body that caused severe febrile thrombocytopenia syndrome.

As early as 20 13 and 1 month, people infected with this infectious disease were discovered for the first time in Japan. Subsequently, six patients died of this virus in Yamaguchi, Hiroshima, Ehime, Nagasaki and Miyazaki, and this time in Kagoshima.

This kind of lice, which has become the vector of virus transmission, is mostly distributed outdoors and moves between spring and autumn. Kagoshima Prefecture appeals to residents to wear long-sleeved shirts and trousers when going to grassland with many cockroaches to prevent being bitten.

Note: Patients infected with "Severe Fever Thrombocytopenia Syndrome" will have symptoms of unknown causes such as "fever above 38 degrees and digestive system symptoms, thrombocytopenia and leukopenia, and elevated serum enzymes".
