artistic thinking

"homeland" is the time we live in and the nature on which we live, and traditional culture is also a kind of "homeland". When you walk in, it will bring you deep emotion and unlimited performance space. It is difficult for an artist to transform this emotion into a personalized and stylized painting language, which needs to be understood and practiced with the attitude of "art is better than the sky" before this transformation can be realized.

Father's talk about "a thousand difficulties are easy to change", "bitter school" and "practical wisdom" shows the hardships of this process; "Toddling", "asking questions" and "learning for progress" are Li Xiaoke's insistence; "Between existence and non-existence" is the feeling in the practice of ink painting for many years; "Absorbing" and "serving us" is Li Xiaoke's attitude towards foreign culture and contemporary visual experience. He has been trying to connect tradition with nature and life, constantly looking for new possibilities of ink painting.
