Plot

In Washington in 2054, the human judicial system has "evolved" to the point where it can predict crimes before they occur and arrest criminals who are about to commit crimes! This ability to "predict crime" benefits from the development of a kind of "psychological technology", such as computers that have the ability to display the most secret thoughts of human beings.

Jean Anderton, a police officer in Washington, D.C., has been using this psychological technology as a legal weapon to arrest prisoners, and has never questioned this system. But one day he was suddenly wanted as a prisoner who was "about to commit a crime"! The hunter suddenly turns into the prey, and Anderton has no choice but to search for evidence of his innocence while fleeing...

While Jon is on the run, he learns that the government uses three tools to predict criminal intentions. With a supercomputer "judge" equipped with intelligent thinking methods of the human brain, the decision-making power of whether a person is finally found guilty or not no longer falls in the hands of a large jury, but only by these three "judges" to judge the defendant life and death. When two of the "judges" find the crime guilty, but the other "judge" holds the opposite opinion, if the judgment of the last "judge" (that is, the "Minority" - the minority) is correct , then the opinion of this "judge" is called a "minority report."

The three "judges" disagreed on the verdict of Jon's crime. One of them found him innocent. Then Jon, who was already exhausted after being chased by many capable detectives, Can you use this "Minority Report" to prove your innocence?

Lineup

Samantha Morton (Samantha Morton (Oscar nominee, "Sweet and Lowdown") plays Agatha, a mysterious "predictor" who... Deton plays a crucial role in finding out the truth. Max von Sydow (Max von Sydow, who has appeared in many films and collaborated with Swedish director Ingmar Bergman to launch many classic films) plays the "Father of Crime Prevention" Lamar- Lamar Burgess. Lois Smith ("The Pledge," "Twister") plays Iris Hineman, a researcher trying to find a way to solve this viral new phenomenon. Systems pave the way. And Kathryn Morris (Kathryn Morris, "The Contender") plays Lara, John Anderton's estranged wife.

Behind the scenes: Think tanks create a "real" 2054

Steven Spielberg has long been interested in reflecting daily life through the visual effects of "Minority Report" All around us - especially Washington, D.C., where the storyline unfolds - and a glimpse into what the future may look like.

In order to fully demonstrate his imagination of the future, Spielberg invited many experts to outline the future with him. Spielberg said: "I thought it would be better to bring together the best minds in engineering, the environment, crime fighting, medicine, health, social services, transportation, computer technology and other fields to discuss half a century. What will the future look like? "

From MIT scientists like John Underkoffler to urban planners, architects, inventors, and writers. For example, Douglas Coupland, author of "Generation Some details of our society and technology. Present were the producers, screenwriter Scott Frank, and production designer Alex McDowell and his team. McDowell recalled: "We sat around in a room and discussed in detail how our society would be affected, how it would change, and how it would change over five, ten, twenty, thirty years. What will be popular and what will it look like in the end? We know that we have to work hard to find answers to these questions in order to better meet the tastes of consumers. "

The topic of discussion revolves around the development of medicine. Everything from how people brush their teeth, to transportation, to city planning, to architecture, to art. The film's producer Bonnie Curtis said: "Steven Spielberg wanted to understand the background that we were familiar with, the issues that we could relate to, and some of the attention-grabbing props that we were familiar with.

This may help us understand that the truth is often in the hands of a few people.
