1. Li Dawei (July 29, 1970 - April 10, 2018), graduated from the Photography Department of Beijing Film Academy in 1993, is a male director and photographer in Mainland China.

2. In 2003, he was selected as one of the top ten directors in the 3rd China Television Arts "Top Ten" selection for his TV series "The Family". In 2009, he won the Director's Debut Award at the 18th Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival for his movie "Let's See". In 2010, he directed the TV series "The Past of the Dali Family". In May 2011, the period drama "The Great Road" was filmed in Hengdian. In January 2014, the TV series "The Legend of Jigong: The Living Buddha Enthroned" was completed in Hengdian. In December 2016, "Your Name, My Last Name" directed by Li Dawei started shooting in Wuxi.

3. On the evening of April 10, 2018, Li Dawei died in Beijing at the age of 47 after suffering from cholangiocarcinoma after multiple treatments failed.
