Essay on the trip to Gankun Bay

On the map of China, the winding Yellow River can't be ignored. My hometown is under the zigzag bend, which is the hinterland of the Loess Plateau. The Yellow River has made several beautiful bends of nearly 360 degrees here, which is called Gankun Bay. One Sunday, I asked some friends to drive there to realize my wish.

After entering Yanchuan County and crossing a small river township, I came to the gate of Tu Gang Township Primary School. It was a fork in the road, and I saw a huge sign standing on the side of the road, which read "Yellow River Snake Geopark". I was very excited and walked along the road sign. This is a dirt road that is being widened and rebuilt. The road surface is smooth and can accommodate three cars in parallel. It climbed over a mountain, passed a promontory, wound around the mountain road for about twenty miles, and finally came to Gankun Bay.

In a hurry, like going to a late appointment, I ran to the edge of the cliff to get close to the Yellow River. Looking around, this is a dragon dormant in the hinterland of winding mountains. If it is really how the water of the Yellow River moves out of the sky, it is full of twists and turns, and the mountains can't cover the pace of progress. After all, it flows east I have seen the Yellow River in Matouguan. It is broad, rigorous and sincere. The Yellow River at Hukou is surging and magnificent. This section of the Yellow River is located in the Shanxi-Shaanxi Grand Canyon, which is soft, quiet and beautiful.

Looking back at this observation site, it is a large platform trimmed between two continuous hills, including geological museum, the serpentine bend of the Yellow River, the concave cliff at the outer edge of the Yellow River, several observation points and an octagonal cornice pavilion called Gankun Pavilion. On the ground in the pavilion, there is a smooth Tai Chi Yin and Yang picture made of porcelain. There is a downward stone step outside the pavilion, leading to another observation point closer to the bottom of the valley. Standing here is basically the most concave part of the S-shape. The line of sight is at a distance from the Yellow River. At first glance, the flat and wide riverbed seems motionless. When you carefully observe the bottom of the valley, you can see the flowing waves and feel the noise of the Yellow River. The other side of the Yellow River is surrounded by Shanxi, where you can see caves, terraces and winding mountain roads. I heard that it is a village, and its name is Hehuai Village, but it is also suitable. Look at the concave cliffs carved by the Yellow River axe, which are all large and neat layered rocks, like a horizontal line drawn by a ruler, with distinct layers and spectacular appearance. It's interesting to go to various observation points one by one, each with its own differences.

The sky is high and wide, the mountains are long and the waters are far away, and it is a vast gray. With the S-shaped turn of the Yellow River, it gives people infinite reverie. Because of this curve, you can indulge your imagination, such as your mother's arm, a winding dragon, a crystal practice dancing on the earth, even a mysterious symbol in a totem, the swaying brushwork in calligraphy works, the curve of flying skirts in Dunhuang ... No wonder Fu felt the geographical phenomena here and founded Taiji Bagua, a large number of photographers and artists.

Friends choose scenery to take pictures everywhere, but because the camera lens is narrow and can't take a full turn, they happily choose several places to take pictures. I also think this vast Gankun Bay can be covered with a photo frame. Even if you make a big turn, you can't shoot all the thick soil, cliffs and mountains, and you can't shoot this image, which is profound and ingenious.

This is a historical river, a great river and an eternal river. According to records, the Yellow River existed1600,000 years ago. It is the birthplace of Chinese civilization. Life is only a hundred years. Compared with1600,000 years, a hundred years is really tiny. This river crosses time and space, from ancient times to today and to the infinite future. On the cliff of Aohe River, the layers of rock layers are visible and tangible history. On the mountain, you can pick up smooth pebbles at will, with different shapes, colors and sizes. Who says that every stone has not experienced several vicissitudes? A friend joked that he might find a fossil.

No fossils were found, but a lot of stones were picked up to see which ones could be enjoyed and which ones could be used as pickles. Feeling tired and hungry, I followed the guidance of roadside colorful flags and came to the restaurant of Chengjia Courtyard in Leijiacha Village.

It is said that the Cheng family in this village, perhaps under the protection of Gankun Bay, made a fortune in doing mahogany business in Guangdong, and invested 20 million yuan to build this Cheng family compound on the basis of their old house. It's great to go there. Zhumen high-rise building, with blue bricks and tiles, is ten feet high in front of the single door, and it is extremely difficult to find the exquisite stone inscribed with the word "Chengjiayuan" by Lei Zhenmin, a famous calligrapher in our province. Outside the left and right walls of the gate, there are folk sculptures in northern Shaanxi such as donkey mill and mule mill. Go in and have a look. It is a quadrangle-style building, facing a two-story cave, and on the right is a four-story building. On the first floor, there is a restaurant and a kitchen. There are all kinds of paper-cuts, paintings and noodles in the basement, as well as old farm tools in northern Shaanxi. There are rooms, baths, KTV and so on. Above the second floor. There are more than 20 caves on the left side of the first floor. The doors and windows embedded in each cave are made of mahogany imported from Africa. There are also two rooms with luxurious decoration, beautifully paved with mahogany and pear wood, engraved with famous poems, antique, a carved mahogany table that can accommodate 30 people is worth 600 thousand, with a golden dragon chair in the middle. Friends scrambled to sit down and take pictures as a souvenir. We all feel, really should be the old saying, wealth does not return home, like a night of luxury trip.

The yard is very open, with a big pagoda tree in the middle, a pond rockery, a stream of running water flowing from the rockery, and several yellow river fish swimming happily in the pond. There are several wooden tables, wooden chairs and awnings in the yard, and a dining table with the shape of Zhang Qing bronze chariots and horses is very chic. It is also very comfortable for us to enjoy the scenery of the yard while eating fresh farmhouse meals in the yard.

It's getting late, and we are all very happy.
