How to set the white balance of the studio

General color temperature values under various conditions:

Simple color temperature meter

Candles and firelight below 1900K, 2000K at sunrise and sunset.

Household tungsten lamp 2900K, sunshine 3500K one hour after sunrise.

Tungsten lamp for photography is 3200K, and sunshine is 4300K in the morning and evening.

Quartz lamp for photography: 3200K Normal daytime: 5000~6000K.

220 v fluorescent lamp 3500~4000K sunny day noon sunshine 5400K

Ordinary fluorescent lamp 4500~6000K cloudy day above 6000K.

HMI lamp 5600K, 6000~7000K in sunny shadow.

Mercury lamp 5800K snow 7000~8500K

The TV screen is 5500~8000K and the sky is cloudless 10000K or above.

Be sure to determine the main light when shooting, and turn off all other auxiliary lights after the main light is determined.

Menu Setup/Close: Close

White balance: a or b

Output: cam

Gain: Set the minimum gain value.

Put a whiteboard in the shooting position, aim the machine at the whiteboard, and let white fill the whole lens picture.

Adjust the focal length (usually a little imaginary, just a little) and adjust the aperture.

Turn the automatic white balance switch to WHT side, and the white balance will be automatically adjusted, which will be completed in about one second, and WB OK will be displayed.

The white balance value is automatically stored in the memory (A or B) selected in the first step.
