What does rgb of ps mean?

RGB of PS refers to the combination of red, green and blue to form a color mode. RGB is an additive light mode, which is the color formed by white light plus different proportions of red, green and blue. On digital devices and screens, images are presented in RGB mode, in which red, green and blue are represented by 8-bit binary numbers respectively, and each channel can represent 256 colors, so the total color number of RGB mode is 256 cubic meters, that is, 167772 16 different colors.

RGB mode can display very real colors. Because human visual system is particularly sensitive to red, green and blue, RGB mode can cover and present almost all colors in nature. Therefore, the image color using RGB mode is very real and natural, especially when dealing with color photography and design work, RGB mode is the most commonly used.

Besides RGB mode, there are many other color modes, such as CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) and LAB mode. These modes are usually used in different output situations. For example, CMYK mode is suitable for printing industry, while LAB mode is often used for post-processing of digital photography. Therefore, before image processing, we need to choose the appropriate color mode according to the actual needs to meet different output needs.
