What to cut for a movie?

In film terminology, a continuous picture is called a clip, and its time length is variable. Moving from one picture to the next is cutting, which is the result of cutting the film. With the development of information technology, the application of film in animation and film production is less and less, but the name has not changed.

A shot can be a long shot or a short shot. Long shot refers to shooting a scene and a scene continuously for a long time (some as long as 10 minutes) to form a relatively complete shot paragraph. As the name implies, a long shot is a shot that takes up a long film in a period of time.

This naming is mainly symmetrical with respect to short shots. The content of the camera from the first turn-on to the turn-off is a shot. Generally, a shot that lasts more than 10 second is called a long shot.

NG can't do it, which means that the actor makes mistakes or laughs or can't achieve the best results during the filming process. Now some TV series also use it as the ending to attract the audience and let everyone know the unknown side of the shooting process (that is, tidbits).

Step 2 follow the camera

Also known as "follow the trend". A photograph taken by a camera following a moving object. Follow-up lens can continuously and carefully show the movements and expressions of characters in action, which can not only highlight the main body in motion, but also explain the direction, speed, posture of the moving body and its relationship with the environment, so as to keep the movement of the moving body coherent and help to show the mental outlook of the characters in the dynamic.

3. Synthetic lens

Generally speaking, it refers to the lens picture taken by "synthetic photography". Sometimes it refers to the sound-picture synthesis of the focal plane. In the process of shooting, the picture and sound are recorded on two carriers respectively, and the picture and vocal cords are not printed on one film until the film is copied. Therefore, shots with both sound and pictures are also called "synthetic shots".
